Special Yet Incomplete

The First Snow

It was Saturday now. As the school hours finished, me, Yejin and Jiho went to our usual hangout place. The old grandmother's restaurant where we ate spicy rice cakes together and then went to our own destinations.
We ate and were ready to leave. Then, I remembered that we have to complete the project.
"Yejin, project completion tomorrow." I reminded her.
"Oh, yes. I'll give you my address. Come in the morning, we'll complete it." She said and handed me a paper on which her address was written.
"You guys are meeting tomorrow?" Jiho asked us.
"Yes, we haven't completed a project which is supposed to be submitted on Monday."
"Oh!" And then we left for our places. She is going with Jiho. I'm a bit jealous.

I rang the doorbell. And Yejin opened the door. I saw her in casual clothes for the first time. I entered her apartment which was too huge for her.
"You live here alone?" I asked out of amazement.
"Yes!" She said casually.
Well, then, I sat at the table in the living room and started working on our project. She had already brought reference books from the library an we both were busy making notes for the project. The project work continued without any distraction for almost an hour. She was working hard this time. She never studies hard. I don't know why she is putting so much effort this time.
"Wait, let's take a break. I'll bring you something to eat." She got up from her and went to the kitchen. I, also, got up as my legs were almost frozen due to cold. I looked out of the window.
"Oh! It's snowing! Yejin, it's snowing."
"Ofcourse, it's snowing. It's December now. Wait! It's this year's first snow right?" She came running towards the window.
"Yes." I smiled at her. I was seeing this year's first snow with her. It's a good sign.
"Hey, let's make a wish." She said. Her eyes were shining and she was smiling like a little kid.
"You believe in such things?" I asked her.
"Yaah! It's okay to believe and hope for something. But, don't expect that it will come true."
"You talk too philosophical, sometimes."
"Are we going to make our wishes?" She asked me pointing towards the sky.
"Yes, yes. Let's make our wishes." We closed our eyes and made our wishes.
"Please let me debut successfully." I wished. Then, we both opened our eyes.
"What did you wish for?" I asked her.
"Why should I tell you?" She is equally annoying.
"Okay, don't tell me."
"Don't be sulky. I'm not falling for this. I'm not at all going to tell you." I thought it would work.
"Okay, now let's complete the project."
We sat again and started completing our project while drinking the hot chocolate milk she gave me. And, finally it was done.
"How are you going to celebrate your Christmas?" I asked her as I was just curious? No. I wanted to celebrate my Christmas with her.
"I don't know. Omma Appa are going to celebrate there in Japan."
"What about Jiho?"
"Jiho is going to his hometown for Christmas."
"Oh, then should we celebrate it together?" Please say yes, please please please.
"Okay!" She agreed and I was happy. I'm going to celebrate Christmas with her. Yaay! But, still there's a week for that. I left her home after we completed our project.
