Chapter 5

Cora's POV
Zeus tapped a bottom on his watch and immediately we all went down. Like all the things on the carpet include everyone standing or sitting on it went down. We were in an underground room. He all stepped down from the carpet and Zeus pressed the same button and it returned to it's normal position. I took a look around and saw it wasn't that bad it had a cyber desk in the middle of the room. It had black suits and other mission gears and gadgets all over the walls. It was like the type of lab I had at my mansion only quite smaller.
We all gathered round the table. The way we all stood made my remember my father, the last good memory I have of him. I pushed the thought to the back of my mind and tried to focus on what Logan was saying and also kept playing with the bracelet.

"So first things first, we get this guy." He said. And putting a man picture on the screen for all of us to see.

I knew who he was immediately, he was one of the guys that my dad sent after me two months ago X. One of the three fools that beat me up. "I know him. His name is X. He works for my father." I said thinking of everything that bastard has done to me.

"What kind of human names their child X?" Xander asked.

"I don't know, all I know is his mom was a human and drug trafficker. Used to be the most wanted until my father killed her, she was also a prostitute." I said . And she is also my father's sister, which makes him my uncle." I excluded. I have been doing researches on all the people that works or worked for my dad. I didn't really get much about them, mostly because they work from the shadows. And my father is a very smart man he knows what he is doing, all his workers are protected, there is no way of tracking any of them.

"Is there anything you remember about him? Anything that can help with the mission?" Luca asked.

"There is this bar, he loves going to. He owns the place. I don't know if he still goes there but that's all I know about him. I am not sure he goes there often anymore, I remember by father telling him to not let the bar affect his work." I said trying to push all my thoughts aside and focus even if it's hard. I tried to act like a normal human being, who doesn't care at all.

"Okay, we go undercover then, we need to get this guy." Xander said. All through this conversation Zeus only looked at me."He might be the only way to getting more information."

I nodded," we will all go to the bar tomorrow afternoon and look around, we will have to wear face changers because we don't know who is who around here. I said.

"Okay, I will get everything ready by tonight and tomorrow we will be ready to go." Luca said. Then he left.

"Hey Cora, I know this isn't easy, if you don't want to go you can stay back and we will handle everything." Xander said now standing beside me.

"I will be fine, thank you." I said. Then he left to go freshen up. I looked over at Zeus and he was still starring at me. "Why are you starring at me???"

"Nothing, why don't I just show you to your room." He said. Then he took me out of the mission command, showed me the training room and then the room I will be staying in." This is your room, your things are already here. My room is opposite yours."

"Okay." that's all I could say. I had a lots of things on my mind right now.

"You know you don't have to act tough every time." He said. "Sometimes you need people to talk too. I know something is wrong, it is written all over your face, I also know that, he is one of the guys that I saved you from two years ago. I am not asking you to tell me but tell someone Cora." He said and left my room, I stood there for like fifteen minutes just thinking about everything, my dad, my mom, my brothers and Zeus. I arranged all my things it only took me and hour. I kept my secrets weapon in my bag so I won't forget it. Then I took a shower and laid down on my bed. I don't usually sleep because of my nightmares but all the thinking got me tried. I closed my eyes and slept. Which was a big mistake.
