Aizawa Izuku wasn't always a constantly sleepy ally cat, who annoyed his father to death.
14 Years ago he was a mere newborn baby abandoned on the side of the road, left to die. Shouta still remembered the night he discovered the small broccoli headed baby.

It was cold and dark that night, just the way Shouta liked his patrols. The only light source were the dim, old and abused street lights in South Musutafu, no moon in sight. The only sound where the howls of the wind and the cries of a baby.... "wait- baby?!". Shouta leaped off his ledge, in which he'd been perched on for only a mere 3 seconds.
Dropping onto the littered side walk, Shouta crept towards the directions of the cries, and there, right around the corner of an old brick building, was indeed a baby. Crouching down on the side walk, Shouta gently cradled the poor infant in his arms, kissing his soft green locks and hushing the baby to sleep. He calmly stood up, baby still in arms, and searched the surrounding area and to his dismay, there was no one in sight. This baby had been abandoned. Staring into the peaceful face of this child, the soft chubby cheeks and the adorable pale freckles upon them, Shouta felt a sense of protectiveness and pity for the boy. From that night forth, this boy was Aizawa Izuku.
