4. Meeting a green-eyed guy and a beautiful blonde:

Well, times are passing, but the school is still the same," I said sharply. All the same, the school was the same old and for such a long period of time, no one bothered to make repairs to this building. The school was large, made of many bricks and wood, which over the years had lost some of their strength and beauty.

But what has definitely not changed is the people who attended this school. Although all these people graduated from high school a long time ago, their appearance has not gone anywhere.

"Astrid, is this your school that you've told me about a million times?" Walker asked. With a sneer, I turned my head towards Walker's face. "What else did you expect, Walker?" I asked questioningly. Lost in thought, Walker straightened his bow tie. "Well, I was expecting some kind of prestigious school, because such a beautiful and intelligent woman like you would most likely go to a prestigious school, but as it turned out, it was a mistake," he chuckled.

I immediately hit Walker on the shoulder, who frowned from the blow, and began stroking my injured shoulder. "This is for your tricky expectations" - I smiled. Walker moved forward, squinting.

Realizing that I was lagging behind him, I had to shout slightly. "Hey Walker, where did you go?" - running to him, I shouted at him. Walker turned with a surprised look. "I ... This is ... I'm going to eat something, I didn't eat anything, remember?" Remembering that, I just nodded my head after him.

Trying to find something to do, I trudged to the booze counter to drink and wait until I had enough Walker.

Approaching the parking lot of the school, I wondered - "how are all my classmates doing, have they got wives, how is Astrid ..." who wants to spend the rest of his magnificent life.

The song "Paradise" sounded on the radio, which I really liked, because it accurately described my life. I dreamed, I dream and most likely will dream. Why? So, because I am "useless" as many say, but there is no reason to be discouraged, maybe people have somehow changed.

Turning off the engine of my SUV, I removed the keys from the ignition. Closing the car, I adjusted my tuxedo again. Approaching the door, I immediately changed my mind about going there, but it was too late to retreat. I sighed and opened the door of the same "old school". Going inside, I noticed many of my classmates who were dressed in expensive suits, from all the same expensive brands.

Some had families, some did not, but apparently everyone had money. The proof of this was all the same incredibly expensive trinkets, costumes and cars.

Stopping looking at my classmates, I trudged to the bathroom to wash my hands. Kicking the heels of my shoes, I approached the bathroom door. Having entered there, I did not see anyone, everyone was at the meeting itself, and I was here to somehow put myself in order.

As I washed my hands, I looked at my reflection. In this reflection, no one needed a lucky man, with green eyes with a red mop and a dozen fading freckles. Putting my head down on the sink, where the water is flowing from, I thought for a minute - "what if I hadn't chickened out at the previous graduation, and would have offered Astrid to go with me to the prom?" but immediately I came to my senses, she would say - no, as many times before. I closed the sink faucet, took a large napkin and dried my wet hands. Heading for the door, I wanted to open it, but they beat me to it. The door hit me in the face.

The culprit of this blow was a tall man, about my height, he was well built and had a lush mustache with brown eyes. Slightly sideways, I took hold of my face. The man, nothing was wrong, moved to the sink. "Look where you're going, fishbone," the man muttered. I held on to my face, took a napkin, and walked back to the main hall. "I'm sorry," was the only thing I said to this bastard.

Leaving the restroom, I wiped the blood from my nose with a napkin, and then threw the napkin into the urn that stood just around the corner of the men's restroom.

Having spoiled my mood even more, I decided to go to the counter with alcohol, where I could somehow calm myself down. After going through almost the entire room, I saw almost everyone except Astrid, with a certain bitterness, I went to the counter with alcohol, another woman stood next to me, trying not to pay attention to her, I ordered a not very strong whiskey, because I arrived in his car, not with a chauffeur or anyone else.

Suddenly, I hear a woman's voice coming from the left side of my ear. "Hiccup?" - all that I heard.

Standing near the bar was really tiring, during my time at the bar, I drank a total of 2-3 glasses of martini, which gave its effect.

I also saw a couple of my old friends, and his ... Snotlout ... The man who pissed me off all these years in high school. He always tried to roll up, or show how strong he is, or handsome, but more and more ended up strong blow to the nose.

In addition to him, there were also the Torstons twins, they were incredibly hot pranksters, the same Snotlout has repeatedly lost his pants because of them. The two of them were named Tuffnut and Ruffnut. Two pair of boots, inseparable twins. After talking a little with me, the two of them left, under the pretext - "there is still a lot to meet with."

After a very hearty dinner, Walker came up to me, who said something about my classmates, after which he ordered one glass of scotch, "from which it is difficult to break away" - as he is called in the circles of the island of Berk. After drinking one glass, Walker told me that he needed to go to the toilet.

When Walker left, after a couple of minutes on the right side, I heard a nasal, nasal voice that was terribly familiar to me, but I really could not determine who it was. As a result, sitting next to him, my curiosity took up, and I looked at him, immediately I saw a skinny but tall man, with a mop of brown hair, a pointed chin, pale skin and fading freckles. He also had gorgeous, bright green eyes, which somehow mesmerized me.

At that very moment, I realized who it was. This was the same shy guy who was very often bullied by the bigger students.

At one point, I decided to pronounce his name.

"Hiccup?" - that's all I said.
