today, jihoon decided to visit the park once more just to maybe, maybe, see soonyoung again. when jihoon reached the familiar clearing, a place so deeply hidden in the park that the average person could easily miss, there he saw the same recognizable silhouette as yesterday. but, something seemed different today. soonyoung seemed-happier? that's a relief.
"how's it going?" jihoon asked as he settled down beside soonyoung. soonyoung flinched at the sudden voice and lifted his head up, only to see jihoon and let out a light sigh.
"everything's alright. just like usual."
jihoon hummed a reply, and that was all he needed to do. they continued to stare off once again, until the comfortable atmosphere was shattered by a deafening voice.
"yah, kwon soonyoung! get back home right now!" soonyoung froze in his spot, eyes widening wide like a deer in headlights.
he reluctantly stood, following the sound of that voice. all jihoon could do was turn around in a hurry and watch as soonyoung was dragged away. he saw soonyoung's smile dropped. before soonyoung could disappear from his line of sight, he saw soonyoung muttered out the words;
"tomorrow. i'll see you then."
and that was it before soonyoung was gone.
