Deku Brainwashed

Chapter 2. Waking up. Deku P.O.V

I wake up in a bed. there are tubes coming out of me and there's a man with grey hair in the corner, with a small girl and a purple cloud guy and a masked man, they're all talking. I recognise them but I don't know them. I sit up and they all turn, now facing me.

"Mido!" the girl shouts running over and hugging me, tears streaming from her eyes, she removes her arms and cups her mouth, muffling a gasp. she looks at the group of people then back at me, my mouth hangs open and I just stare at her my gaze moving from her to the group repeatedly. "he doesn't remember me" she sobs, the masked man walks over and places a hand on her back, "it's to be expected after those hero's from U.A attacked him".

I had so many questions and I guess I showed it on my face because the man with grey hair walks to the other side of my bed and sits in a chair, "you must have many questions." he calmly says. I nod still taking in my surroundings.

he says "I am Shigaraki, that's Kurogiri" he says gesturing to the purple cloud. he notices my staring and quickly explains "I'm a warp gate" now I had even more questions. "I'm Toga" the girl holding my hand slowly explains, smiling at me kindly. the masked man speaks out and says "I'm twice" I nod and say "hello, my name is..." I trail off "I don't know who I am" I feel my eyes brimming with tears and Toga squeezes my hand softly "you're Mido, we are your family" I smile, recognising my name and softly say "thank you Toga",

Kurogiri explains" it's not a biological family, we have just been great friends for ages and have just become family, toga was your closest friend out of all of us" I smile at Toga and she returns it with a hug. "I was so scared when you were stabbed by those heroes" she sniffles and moves back to sitting by my side. I gasp "heroes? stabbed? I don't understand are we heroes? why was I stabbed? who stabbed me? how long was I out?"

Shigaraki chuckles softly "okay I see, want the long answers or short answers?" i contemplated the answer momentarily and decided I could find out more later, "the short answer please, just for the time being" Shigaraki nods and begins "it was students training to be hero's, from U.A high, they stabbed you when they found you on campus, it was the boy Katsuki Bakugo, a month, the heroes have turned it on us saying we kidnapped you after stabbing you and you're all over tv so you must be careful outside."

I think for a moment, the name U.A sounds familiar, and I ask "heroes?" Shigaraki gasps and nods "we are a superhuman society with 80% of the population having a special gift we call quirks, mine is decay, anything I touch with all 5 fingers crumbles and turns to dust, Toga's is that she can turn into anybody whose blood she ingests, the more blood the longer she can maintain their form, Kurogiri's is a warp gate and can become a portal using the dark fog he manipulates with his hands, and twice can make copies of anything, but refuses to copy himself due to personal reasons"

I nod taking in this information. "so what's my quirk?" I ask, Shigaraki and Toga look at each other and say "we think the heroes took it away" I gasp scratching my wrists. Shigaraki notices and smiles. he scratched his neck when they were talking. I guess it's related.

"what, why how?" I blurt out "Mido, please calm down you're still injured don't raise your blood pressure" Toga says with a worried expression. I nod and smile " yes of course sorry" Shigaraki states "you had a sort of power type quirk, you can boost your athletic abilities and become super strong and fast" I was shocked " so we're villains?" Kurogiri stepped forward "no, we don't believe in labels such as heroes and villains, only justice"

I look around the room at these 'villains' and only saw people, my people, and I was going to protect them and get back at those heroes. "so, when can I get up?" Toga smiles, "tomorrow" I sigh "I'm getting tired can I sleep" they all nod and back out of the room waving and saying "goodnight" or "see you tomorrow"
