Deku Brainwashed

Chapter 6. The chase. Midoriya's P.O.V

"Mido you sure you're ready for this? they're bringing in your attackers, but you cannot fight them, you'll be captured. play it safe, keep your distance and meet here" Shiga says, pointing to the map. I nod and say "but if I get caught I want you guys to run. don't help me. just run" toga looks at me. "no" she says. "if they catch me that's only one of us. but we cannot let the number get higher than one." they all nod.

"this is our chance" Shiga says, rolling up the map. "let's go" Kuro states, becoming a portal, for me, I step through and turn up in the town. everything is going to plan. I run into the middle Street and sit on a bench, waiting. I hear gasps and people point at me "the lost student" they say. I smirk and wave. then I hear it, the sound of footsteps and people shout

"the heroes are coming, why are they coming? are they gonna try and catch him? surely he would go quietly? they're his friends" I stand up " no they're not"
I hear gasps as I jump and start running on the rooftops. "Midoriya! wait!" I hear a girl shout. I turn to see a girl with brown hair in a bob with a pink costume on. "hello Ochaco" I say softly, she gasps and smiles " you remember me!" my face drops "of course I do"

I slowly start walking towards her as she backs away. out of nowhere I am blown away from the side. I grunt. landing on my feet on a nearby rooftop. " hello Bokuto, Todoroki, Iida" Iida steps forward "come home Deku, we'll help you" I gasp, I didn't expect that. "no thanks, I don't need help from you" I step back. nearing the edge of my rooftop smiling. Iida notices and sprints towards me closing the space between us quickly.

  "bye now" I step off and hear gasps and screams. I land on my feet perfectly and sprint in the direction of the checkpoint, the others should be finishing off by now. I hear footsteps behind me and turn to see Todoroki sprinting after me throwing ice at my feet, I speed up and suddenly stop in my tracks as my foot is trapped in the ice trap. I scream out in pain as my body is held back by my knee almost bending and the ice is melted instantly I fall to the floor grasping my knee, I look up in shock at a worried Todoroki who steps forward, "Deku I'm sorry I didn't mean to I just wanted you to stop"

I look up angrily, slowly powering up to 35% "don't call me Deku!" I scream slamming my first into the ground below me, he is blown back . I slowly stand and turn to the direction I was previously running and see Bakugo and Iida blocking my escape, I fix Bakugo with a glare and shoot an air canon straight at him. but nothing happens and he looks shocked, more shocked than I do, no doubt.

I turn again and see the guy with the many scarves making eye contact with me as more reinforcements gather on either side, Mina and Momo behind a now standing Todoroki and the scarf man, I look up thinking I can jump but I see Ajiro, Asui and Tokoyami above me. I'm trapped "shit" I exhale shakily, my knee is in pain and I can't stand for much longer. I fall to my knees and the heroes approach slowly.

"I hope you're happy now!" I scream at them, crying. "you failed to kill me once! now you can finish the job!" they all look at me in shock. "Deku" Ochaca says sadly. "Deku we didn't stab you" I look at her angrily. "I was told you would say that!" I say tears still streaming down my cheeks. "Deku what have you been told about us?" the scarf man asks, stepping closer now. I think for a moment.

"you stabbed me when you found me on campus." I cry, pointing at Bakugo. "If my family hadn't gotten me out of there you would've killed me" they all look shocked. Todoroki steps forward "your family?" he asks. I stand up shakily "Shiga, Toga, Kuro, and Twice" I say. they all gasp, "but now I failed to get to the checkpoint you're gonna kill me".

"Deku do you not remember anything?" Asui asks. I scream at them "no! nothing! I remember waking in my hospital bed! where I was told who I was!" Todoroki steps forward. "you were lied to" he says calmly. I fall to my knees thinking it over, scratching my wrist frantically, muttering like a mad man. "no. but. they're my family. that's what I was told, i worked with them for ages. but I'm called a student? Is my name even Mido?! turning against your family already?! after one thing is said. you're smarter than this Mido. you know who you are."

I grab my hair and cry, rocking back and forward quickly. "I don't know anymore" I scream. Denki frowns at me from behind Bakugo. I recognise Toga instantly and sigh shakily. "I'm sorry, I don't understand anymore, who is lying?" I say to her. Bakugo looks confused and turns. Toga punches him on the nose and he goes down, "they are, obviously.".

I laugh, still crying as Todoroki shouts " Denki what are you doing?!" Toga puts on a face of shock and looks at her hands, "I don't know!" Iida pins her against the wall with her hands behind her back and I scream " get off of her!", "her?" Iida says, shocked. I run towards him only to be tackled to the floor by Todoroki. "no! get off of me! get off!" I scream, tears still falling. "I'm sorry about this Deku" Todoroki says as something hits my head and I black out.
