Algaepool's POV:

Algaepool flattened herself to the ground, pressing her stomach to the grass. Fighting surged around the clearing. Fear and anger made her limbs freeze and her fur bristle. She felt shocked that anyone would break the truce at the Gathering, against the will of Starclan.
The clearing was full of spitting, furious fighting cats. Algaepool searched for her brother, scared that he might be hurt. Kestrelwing stayed next to her, not moving from her side. She heard Brindlestar yowl something, but immediately lost her words in the screeches of the rival Clans.
"Starclan help us!" she could hear Lakestripe crying.
As Lakestripe cried, a shadow fell across the clearing and the silver wash of moonlight faded from the sky. Looking up, Algaepool saw that a dark cloud drifted over the moon, hiding it's light completely. The screeches and yowls of battle began to fade, changing to yowls of terror and fear. Some cats stopped fighting, running to a crowd of cats, and some crouched motionless, staring at the threatening, dark sky.
"Look!" It was too dark to see who had spoken, but Algaepool recognized the soft, scared voice of Cloudymist, the Shadowclan medicine cat. "Starclan is angry! It's a sign! The boundries must stay where they are!"
In spite of the authority that she had, several cat's voices rose in protest. Whiskerstar's yowl drowned them all out. Algaepool could make out his strong frame in the starshine.
"Cloudymist is right!" he yowled. "Starclan showed us their will. The boundaries will stay the same. The Gathering is over!"
"The next Thunderclan cat, should you raise a paw, will answer to me," Froststar added, strongly jumping down from the Great Rock.
"That goes for Windclan too," Whiskerstar meowed, raking his furious gaze over the terrified clearing.
Brindlestar let out a hiss. "This isn't over." she snarled at the Thunderclan and Shadowclan leaders.
"We'll discuss it at the next Gathering!" peering into the darkness, Algaepool could just make out Hailsnow's massive white shape. "We will have Sunningrocks!"
That's not your decision to make, Algaepool thought. Hailsnow acted like he was deputy, when Coldnight was. But Coldnight didn't act any better, he would act as if he were leader. Her fur pricked, that tom was part of the patrol that had almost killed Burnteyes.
To her relief, the battle was over. Cats broke apart, going back to their Clans and licking their wounds and glaring at each other. The leaders leaped off the Great Rock and began to gather their Clans together, bringing them to different sections of the clearing closest to their territory.
Algaepool and Kestrelwing struggled through the massive shifting mass of cats, all trying to find their Clanmates for the journey home. She had to find Creekclaw, or someone.
