I wanted to kill Lisa where she stood. That little bitch is the reason why my sweet Devin is no longer here. I should've killed that little brat when I had the chance. I pace in rage back and forth as I continue to listen to Tiana rant at my latest appearance at a Bourgeois residence.
"Akasha, how could you be so reckless?! You told her that you are the reason her parents are dead! Now she's a pissed-off newborn, who's the strongest of her clan. Who do you think she's coming for first?!", she yelled, throwing a glass vase at the wall.
"I want her to come for me. I want to be the one to rip her heart out of her chest! It does not bother me one bit that she's turned into a vampire. She's nothing to me! I will kill her just like I killed her parents years ago!!", I said with just as much anger.
I have to figure out a way to distract her. Take something that she loves and completely use it to destroy her. She's a newborn, so I know they're still cradling her like a baby. I will not stop until everything she loves is gone.
"When I am done with Lisa, she's going to be BEGGING for a quick death. However, I shall not grant her that much mercy. I plan on killing her slowly and painfully. I will kill her newfound family first, just so she can hear them scream. Then, I will kill her the way I see fit.", I said as I could feel my anger spreading through my body like a raging fire.
"I'm just saying, you didn't think this thro-"
"And I'm saying to you, enough of this discussion. I've made my decision and if you feel so strongly against it, you will be joining her. Do not test me, Tiana."
I retreated up to my lair to plan out my next move. I know exactly what I'm doing. Newborns are nothing but blind animals. Brute creatures. Once you have control of their emotions, you've won the war. Lisa is no different. Now she knows what I've done and that's the reason behind her transformation. I pulled out a mystic black book that contained all of my dak spells, looking for the perfect one for our little newborn. My eyes sparkled at one that caught my attention the most.
"Oh I'm gonna have fun with this one.", I said with an evil chuckle.
Chrisanto's P.O.V.
I watched her as she meditated in the garden surrounded by sunflowers and Lillies. She looked so serene and peaceful. She always comes out here around this time once the sun has begun to set. I've been watching from afar, thinking about how I'm going to approach her.
"So, are you gonna ask her out or continue eye-fucking her?"
I turned around and saw Lisa, shaking her head with a smirk on her face. I couldn't even give her a bullshit excuse. The look on her face told me to not even try. She's a newborn and can see through me like glass. I sighed and sat down by our thinking tree that's grown here for decades.
"I want to so bad. I just get so damn nervous around her. This doesn't happen to me. I'm never scared to step to any woman. But Angel, she's different. She's the one I'm meant to be with and for reasons I'm still grappling with, that scares the shit out of me.", I replied, glancing back at Angel.
"Chris, she's your lifemate. That's why you're nervous. She's scared just like you are but she really, really likes you. I see it in the way she looks at you. Just go talk to her. You won't get anywhere stalking her from afar every day.", she replied, giving me a soft nudge.
I sighed in defeat, knowing she was spot on with everything she said. Putting my pride to the side, I walked towards her as Lisa disappeared. Sensing someone, I saw Angel open her eyes, gasping softly as she saw me. I smirked at her cute reaction as I got closer to her.

"Hey, Chris! What are you doing out here?"
"Checking on you. You good, baby girl?", I asked, watching her blush.
"I'm okay just finishing a meditation session. This bullshit with Akasha and Tiana has me super stressed. Just trying to help everyone in any way that I can."
"Trust me, you and Gabby have been a huge help. We really appreciate it. Honestly, I hope I'm not coming on too strong, but I was wondering...if I could take you out for dinner?"
"You want to go on a date with me?", she asks, biting her lip to hold back the smile that desperately wanted to show on her face.
"Why wouldn't I? I've had a thing for you since I first laid eyes on yours. You're special. I just wanna get to know you better."
"I'd love to, Chrisanto. What did you have in mind?"
"That's for me to know and you to find out wildflower. Just be ready for 8:00.", I said as I got up as she watched me.
"It's about time you asked me, instead of stalking me every day.", she said with a wink.
I bit my lip as I could hear Lisa laughing in my head. All this time she knew I was watching her, waiting for me to make the first move. She was waiting for me to come to her. It was refreshing from all the hoes that would basically throw themselves at my feet. She's a real woman and I'll make damn sure she's treated as such.
"About damn time you asked her out."
I could hear Lisa's voice cracking up at the fact that I finally grew some balls and asked Angel on a date. I made a mental note to put her in a chokehold later. I made my way inside to get ready for a date Angel will never forget.
