Lisa's P.O.V.

I literally am in complete shock. How in the world do I just become a vampire? I have enough trouble being human. Tears stream down my face as I attempt to process all of this. I look at Angel and Gabby and they aren't as frantic as I am right now. Julius appears to me, giving me a warm hug to calm me down.

"Lisa, we can fight this. There's nothing to worry about.", Julius said in a soft voice.

"I have to become a vampire in 6 days. I honestly don't understand why we have to do anything.", I said, pacing back and forth.

Larry immediately hugged me as tears of fear and anger continued to flow down my face.

"Lisa.", Angel said calmly. I snapped my head in her direction, expecting any trace of worry or fear to let me know that I wasn't going crazy.

"Lisa, it's going to be fine.", Angel said.

That one sentence was enough to trigger every emotion possible.

"Fine? Are you serious right now??! How are the both of you so calm about this right now? Am I missing something?", I asked as Larry continued to calm me down.

"Baby, we can fight her. We won't ever force you to do something like that. We love you too much.", Laurent said as he also held me close.

"Laurent, it's more complicated than that.", Eva said with a knowing look that immediately scared the shit out of me.

"What are you talking about, Eva?", I asked, scared of the answer she was about to give.

Eva's P.O.V.

I am not the least bit surprised that Akasha pulled this bullshit. My senses tell me that she's had her eyes on Lisa for a very long time. Akasha has been waiting and waiting for the perfect chance to strike our clan and she's finally made her move. It's a dumbass move but a move nonetheless. I can tell she's already made up her mind to completely underestimate her opponent and that is truly going to be her downfall. Lisa is stronger than she lets on.

"There's nothing to fight. She's going to kill us in 6 days!", Lisa yelled, scared out of her mind.

"LISA! IT WILL BE FINE BECAUSE WE CAN'T BE KILLED!!!!", Angel blurted out as Lisa stood there in complete shock.

Angel's P.O.V.

Lord knows I didn't plan for Lisa to find out like this.

"Lisa, it's something Gabby and I have never told you.", I said as my hands began to shake.

"What is it now?", Lisa asked in an obviously irritated tone.

"I...we're not who you think we are, sis.", I reply, silently pleading with her to have an open mind for what I'm about to tell her. Chris softly held my hand, caressing it. It was as if he was silently encouraging me to speak my truth.

"Gabby and I aren't completely human, Lisa.", I said.

"Lisa, we are your guardians. We are vampire hybrids.", Gabby explained as she reached for Lisa's hand.

"You're vampires? So, everything I've ever known was a lie?!", Lisa exclaimed as she sat down, still in shock.

I sat beside her, holding her hand. Tears streamed down my face as I continued to look at her. The last thing I ever wanted to do was hurt Lisa. I held my composure as I released a breath I didn't realize I was holding.

"Lisa, nothing was a lie. The friendship that we have is very real. Since birth, our only mission was to protect you and keep you safe. Why do you think on the night your parents died, we took you to our place for a sleepover? Akasha killed your parents, Lisa. She was looking for you because she knew the gifts you possessed. Your parents ordered us to look after you. Your dad was a vampire and your mom was a hybrid. Akasha really came to kill you that night so your parents sacrificed their lives for you, Lisa.", I explained, drying her tears.
