He is Irish by design. An incubus. Strong. Has everything he could ever want.

Except company.

Angel was a nickname given to him in his later years by a friend, but he likes it well enough to use it in his memories. His other name? Gregory. Simple enough. A name he can't really remember getting. Maybe it was at birth.

Then again, maybe not. The birth of Incubus is certainly a secret known only to them. Still, he lived well. Had all he could ever eat. All the energy he could ever steal, but no one ever remembered him.

And that bothered him.

A life of loneliness isn't a life worth living.

He wandered around feeding day in and day out. Spending his time being bored and lounging on people so they wouldn't fight him as he fed.

One day, however, that seemed to change. He spotted a particular demon following a girl around. It was odd. Most demons didn't do things like that. Even more odd were the chains binding him to her. So he did the only logical thing he could.

He stalked the demon.

Angel was particularly attracted to dark hair, demented minds, childishness, and such things. As he followed the pair, it became more and more clear that both seemed to share these qualities. " It's no wonder he's attached to a pretty lil kitten like herself. " He purred on more than one occasion.

Suddenly, his days weren't as boring. Though he never approached them, he still watched and waited. He would send calm waves of energy to them. Both if something started to get to either of them. If one was worked up, the other was to.

This went on for years. Until one day, the girl stopped seeing the demon. When he vanished, she started to change. While maturing, she underwent serious issues in her life. Everyone does, but hers left her in need of help. Without the demon by her side, though, Angel's energy couldn't help her.

He was forced to sit by and watch her go through it. She must have felt alone, but she wasn't. He was always watching. Waiting for the demon to come back. He had an attachment. He couldn't stay away for long.

One day was particularly bad. Y/N had just stopped her medicines and had been trying to get through the day. She'd heard voices for a very long time, and they'd stopped with the medicines. Unfortunately, all things come to an end. Or maybe not, unfortunately. The medicine made her feel like a zombie. She wasn't herself.

Angel noticed her head beginning to hurt, and then seemingly out of another person, the demon jumped out. Back in all of his attractive glory. " S' bout time! She needs ya, you big lunk. C'mon, let get goin'. "

"Who the fuck are you?" He growled.

"S' not important right now. What is is those voices she's been hearin. Time ya go kick them out now. We're late s' go. " he gestured to the girl.

" Who said I'd share with you?! Get out of my way. " The ravenette said as he trudged towards his girl. It seemed he'd missed her.

" You aren't strong nough. Been gone from her to long. You need help. " He said grabbing the demon.

" Shut up bastard. " He huffed crossing his arms.

" Call me names and I'll take that pretty little halo you've been hiding, and show you whose really stronger. " He purred.

The demon's eyes widened. " You're an incubus?!"

" What else would I be?" He asked with his brow quirked.

The demon really looked at him. He was taller than him, brown wavy hair down to his shoulders for the most part, freckles dotted his cheeks beautifully, and he had a feminine figure. He was the perfect personification of an incubus if he'd ever seen one. Especially in his mind. He reminded him of the Kid. " Shit. "

"What's that? Falling for me already? I haven't even used my tail or tried to seduce you yet. Just threatened you. " He smirked playfully. " Right then. Lets go, yeah? She needs us. "

The demon sighed. " Fine. I'm Lucifer. " He muttered a small Introduction.

" Gregory. " Angel gave a small nod to his new companion. He was overjoyed. Yet pissed that someone was playing his Kitten's mind. " We have some ass to kick. " He growled, taking Lucifer's hand and going straight towards Y/N.

~~~~~~
Y/N woke up the next morning expecting her head to be killing her and voices to be talking. To her surprise, nothing was going on. Everything was quiet.
The. She glanced over to her right, and once again, she saw her lifelong friend sitting next to her. Her eyes lit up. He'd disappeared a few years ago. Not that she remembered. "...who are you..?" She whispered.
He frowned at her words. Maybe it was for the better, though. It still stung. " I'm Lucifer, Kid. " He said snappily.
" Now, now, be nice to Kitten. She's had a hard time, latley, ya know?" Gregory said, trying to maintain his distance for the time being. He adored them both but couldn't let his guard down. He'd been taught all his life that once it was down, it'd be his downfall. Not to mention, he wanted to make sure nothing was going to try to come back for them. Either of them. He'd seen the way they looked at the beautiful demonic boy.
He didn't like it. At all. It left him consumed with rage.
" And you?" The naturally curious girl asked.
" Gregory. " He said simply.
" Not much of a talker, hmm?" She asked, not used to the quiet and calm anymore. " That's fine. I'm rather happy it's quiet finally. " She sighed softly. " And calm. No one telling me to do things. " She smiled happily.
The ice he'd invaded his heart with began melting rapidly. Even more so when he saw the demon's beautiful but small smile as he gazed at the girl.
" Sorry it took so long to get them out. But, they're gone now, kid. It's just us. Me, you, and that bastard. " He kind of chuckled.
" Just wait until she goes to sleep. I'll show you a thing or two..." Angel mumbled softly. " Well.. I promise I'll never leave you alone. Just like Lucifer. "
" Then I suppose it's nice to meet you to Gregory. " She smiled.
~~~~~

" It's too bad. I can't tell people about you guys. "

"You could Y/N, but you'd probably end up locked away. " Lucifer said grumpily.

" Shush Lucifer. " Gregory said as he twirled the halo on his finger. He smirked a little, taking a look at Lucifer, and lucifer looked away, blushing without saying a word.

" It's okay. Who would believe me anyway, right?"
