Ranboo hissed.

He stared at a zombie.

He didn't have his chestplate or helmet on.

He had a large rack of antlers. One side was pitch black while the other was white and speckled with gray spots. A pair of wings rested on his back, curled up.

He couldn't wear his armor with the extra body parts.

The zombie groaned, limping closer. Another joined it.

Ranboo bared his teeth, then realized what he was doing. He closed his mouth and jumped forward, quickly slaying both zombies.

Ranboo huffed. He was just vibing- mining and humming to himself -when he suddenly got a headache. He had also got back pains. Then he got wings and antlers. His hands already had claws, but they became longer and sharper. Scales had grown on his arms. Black on his right and white on his left.

He leaned against the wall of his strip mine, looking at chat.

Apparently the others had the same issue?

<Ranboo> Where are you guys?

<Dream>  Logstedshire.

<Ranboo> Okay

He sighed and began to make his way back down the long tunnel.

-------------

Technoblade huffed.

He, like the others, had claws, scales, and horns.

He had thick antelope-like horns.

Philza was there with him.

Philza also had horns, pitch black and thin. He had wings. Covered in feathers.

Instead of scales along his forearms, he had feathers. He had black claws and feathers were on his elbows. He looked like a feathered raptor.

Apparently the others were having this issue and were at Tommy's.

Phil and Techno were getting ready to leave. Techno was taking Carl to make travel faster. Phil was flying since he had experience.

--------------

Tommy was basically falling asleep, cheek against his knees which were drawn up to his chest.

To say the least, he was sleep deprived and exhausted.

He was struggling to stay awake.

The blonde finally gave in and his eyes fluttered close.

--------------

Sam glanced to the sleeping teenager, feeling sympathy for the young man. He spread his wings slightly and curled one around Tommy.

Dream looked up from his arm, a digital panel closing. "I just looked through everyone's coding," He shifted. "There's legit nothing wrong with anything. There's clearly something going on."

"Did the server get hacked?" Schlatt piped up, upside down in the air. Ghostbur was beside him, crossed-legged.

"I don't think it was." Dream said. "This is just insane."

"It's also painful." Tubbo hummed, shoving a piece of blue into his inventory quickly.

"Yeah." Eret sighed. He glanced up and gasped.

Dream followed his gaze.

Philza was in the air around twenty blocks away. Technoblade was underneath him on a horse, on the ground of course, speeding towards the group.

Then the winged man landed. A thick and long feather-covered tail hit the ground behind him.

"We were wondering why we were changing into whatever this is," Philza chuckled as he trotted up, folding his wings against his back. Gray feathers dotted around his eyes.

"Yeah, this is kinda weird." Techno huffed as he came up beside Phil on Carl. The horse snorted.

Tommy woke up with a soft groan, lifting his head. He yawned quietly and curled his tail around his legs. He didn't seem to notice Sam's wing.

The leathery flesh under his arms was longer now, nearly at the bottom of where his ribs would end. It was a dark red color on the back, but white on the front, so it was hard to miss.

Ranboo popped through the portal, stumbling out and panting.

"IT'S SO HOT IN THERE???" The black-and-white player yelped, tail flicking behind him. A small flame was on the end of it which he pinched quickly to put out.

"It's always hot in the nether?" Tommy spoke up.

"It just- never mind." Ranboo waved a hand in the air to dismiss the statement and he joined the rest of the group.

"Has anyone seen anything before any of this happened?" Sam spoke up, rubbing his left forearm with his right hand.

"Oh, I think I saw a dark cloud over spawn. A light too, maybe? It was really hard to tell." Eret hummed.

Sam nodded softly and opened chat with his left arm, dropping his right, then swapping tabs in the digital panel. He brought his right hand up to his chin.

"Strange. I just looked at the latest weather 'updates' to the server," He explained. "And there's a jumble of weird symbols for the most recent."

Dream glanced to Sam, then opened the same panel.

"I see that too."

Tommy glanced over to see the panel on Sam's arm.

⍑⊣∷⊣∷⍑∷ ʖ⍑∷ᔑꖎᒷ⍑⍑⊣⚍⊣ʖᒷ⋮ リ∷ʖ∷ʖ⊣⍑ᒷ⋮ꖌ╎⚍ꖌ⋮||⎓ᓭᒷᓭ⎓ᓭᒷ⎓⊣∷ᒷ⍑⋮⚍ꖌꖌ𝙹⚍||ᔑ

The symbols shifted a few times, changing the beginning and end symbols.

"Hey- Sam, is it supposed to do that?" Tommy pointed at the shifting symbols.

"Huh?" Sam glanced down, now noticing the movement. "No, they aren't. They shouldn't even be there."

Tommy moved his hand to rest in the grass.

"Dream, look at the line of symbols for the latest update on the weather and just watch it." Sam hummed.

The masked man looked back down at the panel for a minute.

"That's... Weird."

"Wha? What's it look like?" Ranboo asked, standing from his sitting position beside Tubbo. He quickly walked over and crouched down. Dream held up his arm.

"Here."

Ranboo gasped.

"That's Galactic."

"What?"

"Galactic. It's the language of the End, basically." Ranboo shrugged. "Or well, that area."

"How do you know?" Sam questioned, setting his arm down. All eyes were now on the black and white teenager.

"Well uh," The young man rubbed the back of his neck. "I used to live there for a while. I picked it up there."

"Can you tell us what it says, then?" Dream asked.

"I can try, I haven't spoken it or read it in a while." Ranboo got onto his knees, eyes scanning the line of symbols.

He let out a small hiss after reading it again.

"I can't believe that," Ranboo spat, tail whipping behind him in anger. "It's some sort of spell a witch from the End would cast."

"There's witches there?" Ghostbur gasped, twirling around for a moment.

"Yeah. Taller versions of Endermen, they're incredibly OP." Ranboo huffed and stood. "I almost died to one when I annoyed it on accident."

He made his way back beside Tubbo.

Eret flicked his wings back. "So what can we do about the uh, witch spell?"

"I don't know," Ranboo admitted, thin tail curling around to his lap. "I don't remember what people did when they got cursed by a witch. Usually happened when they ticked a witch off."

"But no one's been to the End in this server," Dream mumbled. "Why the hell would one be pissed off at us?"

"I did say usually. I'm not sure why one would be pissed though." Ranboo thought, eyes narrowed at the grass. "I don't know what to do here."

Dream sighed and nodded slowly. "At least we know what happened to us."

A few others nodded.

"Do the spells wear off or..?" Sam asked.

"From what I remember, only a few do. Other spells the witch will be able to remove whenever." Ranboo shook his head slightly. "Sorry I'm not much help."

"It's all good." Sam gave a thumbs up. "That is a bit more info, though."

Eret bent forward and clutched his stomach with a hiss, wings curling around him to cover him up.

"Eret?!" Ghostbur and Tubbo yelped at the same time.

A low growling sound came from the king.

Those who weren't standing scrambled to their feet and backed away, other than Eret.

The man with golden wings seemed to shapeshift.

In his place stood quite a tall golden dragon.
