"So what are you looking for?" Tommy asked, drifting beside Technoblade, quieting down into a soft hum.

"Uh.." The drake huffed. "Changes in the area, I think."

"Well, what'd this place look like before?"

Techno flicked his tail. He still had his ears, but they were pointy and stiff, and angled backwards. He looked around. "Well, I mean it was just grass."

"Ohh. Well if it helps, I keep seeing these glowy things in the trees." He made the 'okay hand' with his hands and put them around his eyes. "Dunno what they do." The ghost shrugged.

Techno glanced up to the ghost.

"Where?"

"Uhmmm.." Tommy turned towards the thicker part of the trees. "Around there, I think."

"Hm."

Tommy spun around for a moment. "This is boring... Uhm.. Tell me about the past I guess."

Technoblade hummed. He lifted his head from a patch of grass he was looking at. "Nothing over here!"

He turned to Tommy again. "Uhm. Well, I can tell you about the most recent war."

Tommy stiffened up a bit. "No- no. Something else, please?"

Techno blinked. "Uh. I can also tell you about the time we spent in Pogtopia."

"Pog.. Pogtopia? That sounds familiar. What is it?"

"Pogtopia was the place you and Wilbur used when you were exiled," Techno explained as he made his way back to Dream, Eret and Sam. Philza and the other ghosts were making their way over as well.

"Wait. We were exiled? From where??" Tommy wiped a bit of magma away from his mouth, shaking it off.

"From L'Manburg."

"That also sounds familiar, but I don't know why. Well- wait, I sort of know why." Tommy crossed his legs as he and Techno stopped beside Sam.

"What're guys talking about?" The green dragon hummed. Tubbo looked over, listening quietly. He was following the ghosts up to the group.

"This place called L'Manburg!" Tommy chirped, gliding around Techno and Sam once before coming at a stop in front of them. "Apparently I was exiled from there and-"

The ghost rambled on about it for a minute before he ran out of what to talk about.

"Oh, yeah, that wasn't the only time you were exiled," Techno shrugged slightly. "You got exiled twice."

"Wait, really?" Tommy tilted his head. "Wow. What'd I do?? To get exiled both times, I mean. Had to be something bad."

The group began to move off. Tommy followed them.

"The first time you didn't do anything," Tubbo spoke up this time. Tommy turned his attention to the drake behind them, and soon drifted beside him.  "An evil dictator exiled you and Wilbur out."

"What about the second time?"

Tubbo hesitated. He sighed. "You uh- you robbed and burned down someone's house and got exiled that way."

"Ohhh." The ghost paused. "That doesn't seem like something I would do.. Huh."

"Pfft-" Techno snickered.

"What?"

"It's just-"

"You would most definitely would do that." Tubbo snorted, an amused glint in his eyes.

"Woah." Tommy gasped. "Wait, what else did we do?"

"Well, you were a vice president for a while."

"Wow!"

Ghostbur drifted closer to the group. "Hey Tommy when we get back I can show you my library! It's kind of in a sewer but it's nice there."

"Woah, okay."

"It has books about the past!" Ghostbur grinned. The best a giant winged lizard could, anyway.

Tommy smiled back widely, doing a twirl in the air.

Ghostbur flapped his wings once. Schlatt floated beside him, wearing a smile.

-------------------------

In L'Manburg...

Ghostbur led Schlatt and Tommy over to his crane while the others talked about what they saw.

"This place is so cool.." Tommy gasped, looking around at the buildings, then up at the crane.

"It really is." Schlatt nodded.

Ghostbur smiled and opened the door, leading the drake and the teenager down into the sewers and into the library.

"Here's where I keep my history books!" Ghostbur hummed happily, drifting over to a chair.

Tommy 'ooo'd and floated over to a neat bookshelf.

"Here's a book of things I remember." Ghostbur smiled and lifted a leather book with faded, golden writing on the cover and spine. A slightly torn red bookmark flopped out of the top. He handed it to Tommy, who turned to look at the Ghost.

Tommy took it, his eye-sockets widened a bit. He opened it and sat floating in a criss-cross-applesauce position.

---------------------------------

Dream curled his tail in thought. "So nothing was seen?"

"I saw some weird blue-vein-looking things near one of the corners," Ranboo admitted as he flapped his wings open. "They were in the ground and pulsing."

"I saw something similar to those." Tubbo piped up.

Sam's snout scrunched up as he thought. "The middle looked like lightening struck there, and there's blue-vein things in the ground..." His wings flapped slowly as he closed them.

"Some powerful magic," Phil murmured.

"Very." Dream growled. "I don't understand why this witch thing is doing this to us."

Ranboo shifted his talons.

Tubbo shuddered. "I feel like I'm being watched."

Ranboo stiffened, then lifted his head and looked around.

There.

Two purple eyes stared straight back into his green and red ones.

"Oh no." He whispered. "It's here-"

"What's here?" Sam asked, looking over to the now-frozen dragon.

"The witch." Ranboo breathed. "I'm so dead."

That made the group grow still and follow where he was looking.

The noise an Enderman makes when aggravated rang in their ears. But it was more aggressive.

And loud.

"What the-" Techno growled.

"Ohhh no. No, no no." Ranboo stood up, his wings flaring out in panic.

Then Ranboo disappeared in a cloud of purple particles, popping up closer to the caravan.

"What the fuck?" Tubbo yelped, eyes wide.

Another figure popped up beside Ranboo, making the black-and-white dragon screech and teleport away.

Tommy, Ghostbur and Schlatt soon drifted over.

"What's going on?" Schlatt asked

"The witch we were talking about is here," Dream said as he stood.

"Oh. That's bad." Schlatt muttered.

Ranboo appeared closer this time, the witch holding a wooden staff carved into a swirl at the top. A sphere was in the center, floating and glowing. It was a purple color.

Eret gaped at the conversation between the pair, much like Tubbo and the ghosts.

Ranboo faltered. W⍑ᔑℸ ̣ ↸𝙹 ||𝙹⚍ ᒲᒷᔑリ?

----------------------

Ranboo stared at the witch.

The dragon herself wanted him dead?

For 'betraying' the End?

He was confused.

"How am I a traitor?" He asked. The witch's eyes narrowed.

"You left us to join these... Pests!" The witch spat, waving to the group of players. "They wish to kill Her Majesty!"

"What? We aren't allowed in the End here."

This time it was the witch's turn to look taken aback.

"What?"

"Yes. We are not allowed there."
Ranboo shuffled his wings.

"You lie! All players wish to kill the queen of the End."

Ranboo groaned. He glanced to the group of players and had to do a doubletake. They were staring at him and the witch with wide eyes. Had he not been speaking English?

"I must have your head on a spike, no matter the cost." The witch hissed finally before diving to attack Ranboo.
