When I woke up the next morning I was in a peaceful bliss for a moment as I forgot about everything. It didn't take long for reality to come back to me though.

"Des, wake up" I heard Pansy's voice from outside my curtain. "We have to get to breakfast." I groaned and rolled out of bed. "I'll
meet you down there." She sang.

I got ready quickly and slipped into my green robes before going to the great hall. Blaise Draco and Pansy were already sitting and chatting at the table.

"Morning" I mumbled sitting next to Pansy and grabbing a piece of toast.

"Get ready for a busy day" Pansy said handing me the timetable for our classes.

"Perfect" I sighed looking at the number of classes we'd have today.

"You've got to be kidding me" I heard Draco mumble. When I looked at him his gaze was fixed over my shoulder. Before I could look I felt a hand being placed there. I looked up to see Luke standing above me. He moved his hand to lean on the table.

"Morning gorgeous" he said looking me up and down again.

"Morning" I said softly after being taken a bit off guard by his presence.

"I was thinking about you last night, couldn't wait another moment to see you again" he said with a smirk. I'd be lying if I didn't say those words with his slick Irish accent gave me a feeling of butterflies.

"Is that so?" I raised an eyebrow at him and he nodded. "Didnt know you had a bit of a sweet side to you Cholderton" he leaned down so his mouth was against my ear.

"There's a lot of things you don't know about me" he whispered. When he pulled away he left me with a swift wink. "See you around then love?"

"See you around" I gave him a sweet smile as he sauntered off the the Hufflepuff table.

"Looks like you left a good first impression on him" Blaise scoffed. "I was thinking about you last night" he said copying his Irish accent. I pelted a grape at him and laughed.

"You're pathetic" I smirked. I looked at Draco who looked right furious in this moment. His hands in fists so tight his knuckles were white. I was going to push him about Fay but didn't feel like dealing with his wrath.

"What did you do to that boy?" Pansy asked.

"I just flirted, he invited to a Hufflepuff party and I agreed." Pansy took a gasp of air.

"Can you get me in?" I looked at her confused. "Oh come on you know Hufflepuff always has the good stuff, their parties are second best to Slytherin."

"Doesn't Slytherin have a welcome back party too? They do every year." I asked.

"Yeah but it's the night after"

"Fine I'll get you in." I let out a sigh and an eye roll.

"I'm going to" Draco said under his breath.

"Shouldn't you be focused on other things Draco" I said nodding towards the Gryffindor table.

"I don't trust that he likes you this much so quickly. I'm going" he said sternly.

"Yeah god forbid a guy likes me right?" I mumbled. Draco looked at me, I didn't make eye contact but I'm sure there was still anger in his eyes from him thinking I was cheating.

"I don't want to be alone" Blaise added in.

"Fine I'll get you all in okay" I let out groan. "I'm heading to class" I mumbled before getting up to leave. I normally walked with them but Draco's comment pissed me off too much to care.
