Chosen Path

The sound of a whip hitting bare skin echoes within the dimly lit room. A man in a black suit whips a girl werewolf that's chained to the floor, the girl no longer whimpers in pain but stays silent. Instead of her feeling tortured, she's torturing him by not letting her screams of pain out. The girl closed her eyes, hit after hit she can feel the skin on her back breaking and causing her to bleed, the stench of her own blood invades her sense of smell. Her blood runs down her back, but as the blood drips onto the ground it isn't red like normal blood, no it is pitch black and burning hot from the anger within her.

As the girl sits there, taking the pain, she thinks about how she got to this point. To where her own creator is whipping her, she thinks about the path she took, and how it would have saved everyone and changed this outcome... the path she had chosen to walk by looking onto the future. As she thinks about if she could change her future, memories of the past few weeks flow into her mind like a river.

Blinding light floods the hotel room, causing a soft groan to be heard within the room. As the light poured into the room a figure sits up on the bed, they stretch towards the sealing and when they do their back and shoulders pop; relieving the tension that was bothering the figure. They then get out of the bed and stood tall in front of the window, the figure looked out onto Starlight Island.

As the figure looked out onto the city the bedroom door opened slowly to reveal a dark blue and black wolf. Once the wolf was all the way into the room, it looked at the figure standing at the window, the wolf then walked over and nuzzled the figures hand to get their attention, and it worked. The figure looked at the wolf and smiled softly before speaking "good morning Luna, did you sleep well?" The person asked softly, their voice calm and soothing, the wolf responded with a nod and started to speak "I did in fact. But what about you Elli? You were tossing and turning all night long" the wolf named Luna said as she sat down and looked at the person named Elli.

Elli nodded and went back at looking out the window, "I was looking into the future of my old friends last night... I worry that they will be in danger within a few hours" Elli spoke as she slowly moves her hand to her amulet, feeling the metal as she thought about her old friends. "If they are going to be in danger will you help them again" Luna asked as she peered out the window, watching the rides in Starlight Wonderland Park activate after being shut down for the night. "What type of friend would I be if I didn't help them? I am the reason Aaron got hurt last year" Elli said as she looked down at her left hand. Only to feel guilty for the pain she once caused to everyone.

"Well what did you see last night" Luna asked as she turned and jumped into the bed Elli was sleeping on, once she was stable on the bed she turned and layed down; wanting to listen to what her friend has to say. Elli didn't respond, she was lost within her memories of the past. In truth she wasn't just looking into her friends future, she was remembering the past and all the pain she had once caused. She was even able to still hear the screams of her friends during the fighting in the forest. "ELLI!!" a voice shouted, snapping Elli out of her thoughts and to look at Luna.

"Sorry, I was..." "lost in the past" Luna finished Elli's thought, only to get a nod as a response. Luna sighed and shook her head gently "you need to stop thinking about it, what happened in the past is in the past. There's no way to change it now" Luna said as she looked at Elli's eyes, wishing that her friend could move past what happened in the forest. Elli took a deep breath and slapped her cheeks, she then shook her head and smiles at her wolf friend "I'm better now don't worry Luna" Elli said and gently laid her hand on Luna's head. Elli then walked over to her closet and started to look for the clothes she would wear today.
