Chapter 9

The Battle Begins 

Everyone splits into different groups around the ship, Elli tries to help where she can but when she does she comes face to face with Michele "you…" Elli says and Luna is hiding behind her. "Well if it isn't the failed experiment, how's life treating you after you killed your mother and made everyone you care about forget you" Michele smirks as he crosses his arms. "You caused all this pain and torment! You caused my brother's death! And you caused my sister to lose the one she loves most" Elli screams at Michele and runs at him. "So much anger… if only you were a pure blooded Ultima, maybe I could have used you instead of that Lycan boy" "SHUT UP" a wave of energy comes off of Elli and it forces Michele to slide back. Michele stands up and dusts off his blue suit.

"Now now Elli… wouldn't want to destroy the ship your friends are on would you" Elli stops and looks down at Luna. But when she lets her guard down to check on her friend Michele takes the chance and uses his magic, chains wrap around Elli and Luna, forcing them to their knees. "You won't get away with this" Elli yells as she tries to break the chains, but they were made with dark magic that cancels out her power.

"Oh I think I will, and I'll enjoy tormenting you and making you watch as your friends suffer" Michele then knocks both Luna and Elli out and orders guard to take them to different and secluded rooms. Over the time span of a few minutes Michele comes in with a black suit on and starts to whip Elli on her back, feet, arms, and leggs. "You are tainted, you are useless" Michele says as he whips Elli, causing her to scream in pain. Slowly Elli becomes accustom to the pain for she remembers how she once felt this same pain. 

She stopped screaming and took the pain, torturing Michele instead of her being tortured. "Why won't you scream damn it" Michele yelled and continues to whip Elli "you'd have to do a lot more than that whip to make me scream" Elli says, her voice scratchy. She slowly looks at Michele, the rage in her eyes was enough to shake an army, Michele backed away from her slowly. Elli thought about the path that brought her to this point, understanding that her love for her friends was the reason she is strong. "You may have me chained… and you may have changed the timeline…" Elli's lips slowly turned from a straight line into a smirk.

"But there is one thing you didn't count on when you chained me up" Elli tilted her head and it caused her neck to pop. She said straight up, her fierce eyes never moving away from Michele's eyes, he dropped the whip and took another step back "you have no power here! Those chains cancel all your magic" Michele said as he points at her "you're wrong about that. Sure I may not be able to cast any spells with my hands but" Elli closes her eyes and the amulet that the guards failed to take from her starts to glow pure white.

"It doesn't mean that I can't control my magic to do other things can it… demon warlock" Elli opens her eyes as a beam of light comes from the amulet and hits Michele. The beam is so strong that it sends Michele flying through three different walls and into the area above the Celestial Cannon. The amulet removes Elli's chains and she stands up "now you thought I could only use my magic by focusing it into my hands. When in truth" Elli walks to the area Michele is in "I can have it do anything I want just by willing it…”

When she gets there three other people are in the room with her, a man with pure white hair. Bandages all over his body from the beating Michele had given him. Another with brushes all over his body, the captain of the guardian forces, and the last man as Derek's protector when Derek was a boy. They see the state Michele is in and is shocked, they then notice Elli, their eyes widen as they see a werewolf with four tails. "How can this be" the man with bandages says as he stands on his own and stairs at Elli, he recognizes her aura and knows who she is but is shocked that she is here. "You're to lat-" Michele stops speaking and Elli takes a deep breath. She looks at the three "the one with bandages, I can heal you enough to help you fight this man, but the other two… find Aphmau. She's our only hope in stopping the demon warlock, give her a relic" Elli says as she sends a soft beam of light to the man with bandages and starts to heal him.
