Chapter 10

The Relic and The Holder

Elli gets to the control room for the Celestial Cannon and is breathing heavily. "Aph" Aphmau and Kim look at Elli shocked and confused. "What are you doing here" the spirit inside of Kim asks. "Emalin, she needs the realm breaker" the spirit looked shocked that Elli knew her name, for she had no memory of a girl looking like her. "Give Aphmau the realm breaker... that's the only way to save Aaron" Elli says as she coughs a bit.

Without questioning Kim throws Aphmau the realm breaker and is coached into how to use it "stay calm... it won't work if you're anything but calm" Elli says as she walks up to the glass. After Aphmau gets him out of the realm he was in, Kim and Elli rush over to them. "Void burns..." Emalin says as she looks at Aaron's body "what are they, is he going to be okay".

"Void burns are a mark the emptiness puts on a person" Elli says as she walks over. She kneels down next to Aaron "they can kill him we have to get him home" Emalin says as she looks at Aphmau "I'll be fine" Aaron says before flinching in pain. "Aaron please stay calm" Elli says as she looks at the marks and thinks to herself "these void burns are bad... but not as bad as mine were when I had just used my realm breaker magicks... he will be fine after a long rest but knowing him. He'd be moving too much'".

Elli bites her lip "everyone close your eyes please, the magicks I'm going to use can't be seen by anyone for it can damage your sight" Elli says as she places her hands on top of one another "then why are you using it then" Aphmau says and looks at Elli "because I've dealt with void burns before... happens when your magicks changes and fights one another. I've learned a spell that slows the effects down greatly but the spell can damage your sight so please close your eyes" Elli says as she closes her eyes.

Aphmau, not trusting her, doesn't close her eyes. But soon has Aaron's hand covering her eyes without her permission. Kim closes her eyes and once Aaron's eyes are closed bright flashes come off of Ellis body and slowly the void burns pain is weakened till Aaron can barely feel the pain. "Light of the Divine" Elli whispers to herself as pure white angel wings form on her back, and a pitch black halo forms above her head. The flashes soon become one continues light before disappearing.

Elli quickly uses her magic to hide the halo and wings so they are not seen by them "okay. The spell had been casted so he should be in the clear for a while" Elli says as she opens her eyes. Everyone of her friends comes down and they hug each other after Aaron gets on his feet. That's when the ground shakes "okay... this is nice and all but we need to get out of here. The fighting upstairs is causing this place to become really unbalanced" Elli says as she stands straight. She turns towards an exit and sees Toby and her eyes widen, she gets in front of Aaron and growls lowly.

"It would be so easy... to end all this. No family would be torn apart. No one would live in fear" Toby says as he aims his rifle at Aaron. "I trusted you Toby.... Put the gun down now before you make me do something I'll regret later" when Elli says that her body caught on fire and out from the flames a large wolf forms. The same wolf Elli had turned into before "what the..." everyone thought as they watched Elli take a step forward. Her growling now becomes louder. "I won't let you hurt my friends anymore... we've been hurt enough" Elli says as she growls lowly. All of her friends get in front of her to back her up.

Toby slowly lowers the rifle, the ground begins to shake and Elli is forced back to her werewolf form. She holds her head and coughs up blood "no... Bahala..." Elli thought as she felt the man from before, his life force disappeared. "Elizabeth" Luna held onto Elli tightly "I'm fine. Just... just my brother passing" "but I thought Ein died already" Aaron said as he holds his side and looks at Elli. "Different brother. The man from before. The one I healed... he was a close friend of mine... he was like a brother to me in a past life" Elli said as she slowly rose to her feet.
