The Cocky Conquer

Chapter 15

Mikasa's POV

The enemies were getting closer to the wall as my heart thumped loudly in my chest. I bit my bottom lip from being impatient, hand gripped tightly onto my sword. A bright yellow light glowed in the sky, indicating a Titan was transforming.

"Shit! They got Titan shifters with them!", Captain Levi yells out. The Armored Titan, or Reiner, was running full speed into the wall as we all dispersed. "Who knew that bastard would join them? This time, I'm killing him for sure.", I mumbled under my breath.

The wall shook as a hole formed in the middle of it. I used my grappling hooks to cling to the wall and fly down to Reiner as my eyes glinted with pure rage and hatred for him.

I zipped towards his legs and sliced my swords right in the spot behind his knees as I yelled out. He fell down to the ground as I swung myself up to the wall but something was thrown right where my grappling hooks were.

Before I could react in time it exploded, making the hooks come out of the walls while deafening me in the process. I was falling towards the ground but I never felt the impact of it. An arm was around my waist as I was flying in the air. The person who came to save me was Levi.

"Don't die on me now, brat. I still need you here.", he says to me, landing both of us on top of the wall. "I don't plan on doing that anytime soon.", I responded back. I look at my hooks to make sure they were okay which they were. I hear a lot of shouting from Valorie's soldiers as they were riding their horses towards the wall.

"FIRE THE CANNONS NOW!", Levi shouted at the others. They quickly loaded the cannons and aimed at the soldiers as they died from the explosion. We were trying to push them back as far as we could but it wasn't working that much. The enemies were charging forward trying to get inside the hole they formed in the wall.

Levi then order the cadets to attack and make sure they slaughter them all. On the other hand, I was looking around for Valorie as I killed any soldier who was in my way, not giving a damn about their blood curdling screams from the pain I've inflicted on them.

"FIRE!" Everyone looked in the direction the voice came from and had looks of horror on their faces. A big ball of fire was thrown directly at the wall, right where Levi was at. "LEVI NOO!!.", I screamed out as I maneuvered my way to him in lightning speed. I grabbed him just in time before the ball of fire crashed right into the wall. A great big explosion was caused as all the air came from the impact, blowing everything away.

I made sure to cover my body over his to protect him from the explosion as I got us behind a big tree. My back was hurting a bit as I winced. Some debris must've hit my back while my adrenaline was rushing.

"Mikasa, are you alright?!", He frantically examines my body to see a blood stain on my back. I move my back from his vision and smiled at him. I don't need him worrying about me, we have bigger problems than that. "I'm okay Levi I can still fight. Just cover for me, I'll be looking for Valorie." Before he could respond, I shoot off hooking to the trees while slaughtering the enemies.

Killing hundreds of soldiers wasn't tiring me out, but it was making me more determined to find out Valorie's location. She could be in the far back in her crowd. So, I bee lined there as my friends made sure to eliminate anyone who dared to harm me, along with Levi behind me, killing them as well.

My eyes glinted at the sight of Valorie smirking while talking to her soldiers. I knew I had a chance of successfully slicing her head off without her noticing me. I unhook myself from the trees as I push myself forward, having my swords at an angle, ready to slice. A strong blow came out of nowhere and punched me right in the stomach, causing me to tumble onto the ground.
