Levi's POV

Mikasa did fight nicely, but she needs to improve her techniques more. I think I infuriated her when I told her that. I hope I didn't though. Wait, why am I concerned about how she feels? I should be inconsiderate about everyone. But, Mikasa does something weird to my heart.

Everytime I see her....she makes my heart race. Her beautiful grayish black orbs and her long hair. Ahh! I'm thinking too much. I snap out of my thoughts or this will get out of hand. I walk to the cafeteria to get me some lunch and make my most favorited black tea. I sit down by Erwin, Hange, and Mike as they were chit chatting on what happened earlier.

"This is why Mikasa is worth a thousand soldiers am I right?!" I roll my eyes at Hange. She's always so cheerful. When is there ever a time she's calm? "There's something suspicious about the girl Valorie." I sip my tea as all eyes were on me. "How can you be so sure Levi? She's a new recruit which means she'll replace one of the dead ones as we explore the outside."

I raise my eyebrow at Erwin. "Is that the only thing you think about? Valorie arrived so weird, the only thing she was concerned about was fighting Mikasa. Tch! Talking about her makes my blood boil."

"Ouuuu is the big ant mad??!" I slap the back of Hange's head as her glasses fly right off and onto the floor. "Of course not! There's no reason to be mad you four eyes." I hear Erwin and Mike snicker and I glare at them which makes them shut up. "You guys should take more precaution on that new girl. Just because she walked in on us like a model doesn't mean we shouldn't worry about her."

"You're right Levi. She could be trying to target Mikasa. Just keep a close eye on Mikasa and me and Hange will find out more information on Valorie." I nod my head and finish up my lunch and tea as I head to my office.

As I go up the stairs, I hear people laughing. But one was distinctly different from the others. It sounded so cute and angelic. I follow to where the laughs are coming from which I found Armin, Eren, and Mikasa.

I think they're talking about something that was funny. I hope it's not about me and my height again or I'll have to give them a punishment. I walk up to them as they turn around hearing my footsteps. "Shouldn't you brats be going outside and train again?" "Uhh yes Captain Levi! We were on our way out!"

I click my tongue and cross my arms. "Oh really? There's no way you can get to the training grounds going this way. It's no door leading to the outside here." I smirk and raised my eyebrow knowing I caught them in their lie.

They start going the other way as I watch them. "Don't go so easy on each other. You're not rookies anyway." They nod their head in response as I watch them leave.
