Two Months ago
Shannon was sitting in a local bar in downtown of Key West Florida. Bent against the bar counter with his head hung low. He had two hours before the sun rose up as he drank the last bit of his drink. Shannon had just settled in Florida, he found a two floor apartment by the sea. He had built in a freezer room on the ground floor with the perfect sized coffin. It was time he settled in a warm place in the states, ironically, after his past ten year trip in Europe. Vampires did better in cold places, but Shannon craved change. He also knew that Florida held the biggest blood dealers in the states, though their numbers were low. Shannon had plans of his own to start something new, but things turned out differently for him.
Two large men barged into the bar and spotted Shannon sitting across from them. "There, that's him." Said the taller one of the two. They approached him from either side and grabbed his arms.
Shannon looked up in confusion and pushed their arms away from them forcefully.
"You need to come with us." Said the other one all business like.
Shannon was drunk. He had no energy to fight back but would kill them if he had to. He was met with major pain coming through his left arm before he knew it and turned his head slowly to a long syringe being injected into his arm. Shannon groaned a curse.
"Don't worry, it'll only weaken you temporarily until we take you to our master."
Pain shot through his veins making his body sway. Shannon's world turned blurry as he looked at the man in agony and anger. He wondered what kind of strange substance the two strangers had used on him. It was too strong.
"Falcon Taal." The one with the syringe informed him. "He heard you were in town and wanted to see you urgently, Mr Leto." Continued the stranger. "We've heard amazing things about you." There was a weird grin on the stranger's face that was unsettling. Shannon couldn't fight, he couldn't move any part of his body as the substance was turning every inch of his body numb. His vision darkened and he stopped hearing anything. He felt his legs slide and then slowly his body followed suit dropping heavily on the floor.
Shannon woke up in a dim lit room. The room looked like a home office covered in dark wood walls. There were shelves aligned the whole left side of the wall from top to bottom with big, old looking books. Expensive dark velvet curtains hid the large windows from the right.
Sitting on the table opposite Shannon was another man in a dark suit. He had blond long hair put back in a braid. Shannon focused his eyes on the man as his vision began to clear. The other man was smiling, but his smile wasn't kind. Shannon straightened his back on the seat he was in and looked cautiously around the room again.
"Good evening, Mr. Leto." Shannon returned his gaze to the man sitting in front of him. " My name is Falcon Tall, CEO of Tall industries."
Shannon unintentionally turned his gaze to the large wooden cabinet with glass doors behind Falcon Tall, which covered the whole wall. There were multiple fancy large glass bottles of blood. Each type of blood written on its bottle big and clear.
Falcon seemed to notice where Shannon was looking and said: "I see you like my collection?" he smirked. "It's all made by my factory." He waved behind him with his long, pale fingers. "As you can see I've managed to get a hold of each type of blood in this world and made a business out of it. We mix our bloods with red wine and such. Not any vampire can buy from us, it's only for the upper class." Falcon's smirk widened.
"Why the fuck am I here?" Shannon's voice came out raspy. It wasn't everyday that Shannon was kidnapped, he knew how to take care of himself when put in such situations very easily. It was obviously different this time.
