You grimaced as you realised you had to be there for Haruto's birthday V-Live. You carefully placed the band-aid over the wound that was above your eyebrow. It was still a fresh cut, so you couldn't cover it with makeup like you usually did.

As you stood downstairs while waiting for the boys to come, a staff member accidentally dropped something from the box he was carrying, and it fell on you, wounding the part above your left eyebrow. You waved it off, not wanting the staff member to worry, and quickly thought of ways to cover it.

You wore an oversized hoodie, having the hood part over the top of your forehead, your band-aid hidden in plain sight. The reason you went through the entire process of doing so was because Yoshi always scolded you since you were prone to getting hurt. And it didn't matter who or what hurt you, you were the one who got scolded for not being safe.

"Cutiepie, what's with the hoodie?" Yoshi questioned as you walked into the room the VLive was being held in. He raised his hand to pull away your hoodie, but you dodged, shaking your head.

"I ... didn't wash my hair. Can't show that to the fans, right?" You awkwardly stated, ignoring the skeptical gaze you got from Yoshi. Oh, he knows. You played it cool, taking your seat as the VLive started.

Halfway throughout the live, you started dancing to the songs they played, getting hyped by everyone's moves. You didn't notice your hoodie move to the side, revealing your band-aid. And to your luck, Yoshi was the first one to spot it.

He placed his hands on your shoulder, turning you to look at him as he pushed away your hoodie. "Why is there a band-aid on your forehead? What happened?" He inquired, and all the boys immediately stopped what they were doing, crowding around you.

"Nothing!" You quickly pulled away, waving towards the camera and giving a flying kiss. "Gotta run, TEUMES. Bye, I love you!"

"Yah! Hoshi, come back!"

The staff handed everyone their lunch packs, instructing you guys to eat before you went on stage. You happily agreed, opening the box and grabbing the chopsticks. You had a hard time holding the chopsticks because of the fingerless gloves you wore, and you couldn't take them off since they were tight to put back on.

Yoshi noticed your struggle, immediately taking a seat next to you with his food. "Here, it's fine. I'll feed you, cutie-pie," he said, and you smiled gratefully, taking a bite of the food he offered.

You held your hand up after five bites, indicating you were full. "I can't eat more, Yoshi-kun." You pouted, seeing Yoshi's furrowed brows.

"No, eat more."

"Yoshi-kun, I can't."

"Just three more! Only three, I promise, cutie-pie."

You huffed, coming to a truce with the older male. "Okay, only three," you grumbled, rubbing your stomach as you felt full. After the three bites, you moved your head away, taking a water bottle and downing it.

"Aigoo, my good cutie-pie," Yoshi complimented, patting your head with his free hand.

"Thank you for your help, Yoshi-kun."

They gave all the Japanese trainees a day to hang out and get to know each other, and your new friend, Haruto, invited you to join. You agreed since you had already practiced your parts for your YGTB stage.

Haruto waited for you outside the building, walking into the studio together as he introduced you to the other Japanese trainees.

"Hello, I am Park Eunbyul, but you can call me by my Japanese name; Yoshida Hoshi," you greeted, bowing halfway and realising it wasn't a part of the Japanese culture. "It's nice to meet you. Haru-cha—uh, Haruto has told me a lot about you guys." You reminded yourself about the lack of honorifics in Japan, stopping yourself midway.

Your natural cuteness immediately captured Yoshi. He found you absolutely adorable. Just like with Haruto, he wanted to treat you like his kid and a total baby.

"Nice to meet you, cutie-pie. I am Yoshi," the male introduced himself, and you giggled, smiling at him.

You two warmed up really fast, teasing each other and laughing within 30 minutes of talking. Yoshi sat between you and Haruto, his arms over your shoulders as he pulled either of you into a cuddle from time to time. It was mostly you, though, but you didn't mind it one bit.

Yoshi took care of you throughout the day, making sure you ate before he did and checking on you frequently to see if you were enjoying the day. He helped you with your Japanese and translated using his broken Korean whenever you didn't understand something.

During the TREASURE BOX days, you were the closest with Yoshi. However, you loved the other Japanese trainees just as much. When Asahi and Kotaro got eliminated, you cried alone in the corner before wiping away your tears as you had to stay on screen as the trainees bid them goodbye.

You stayed strong, patting Yoshi's back as he cried, no words leaving your lips as you didn't know what to say. It was a clip that had made it into the episode — as it was a trainee from TEAM J and TEAM GOLDEN DIAMOND — and it showed clips of you crying before staying strong for Yoshi.

You received a lot of attention for it, and most of the trainees admired what you did, especially since you were the younger one. Since you had your back to the camera, no one could see you cry, but Yoshi knew the pain you felt in that moment did not differ from his.

From that day onwards, he decided to be there for you in your times of need like an older brother, and to always put you before himself.

What he didn't know was that you did the same; putting him before yourself.
