A Shiki Story

Thirteenth Tragedy

Violet

Nao went to visit her Father-in-Law, she had noticed. She had been feeling hungry lately so she went to one of the bottles full of blood. Pouring a small amount she sipped slowly as her hunger passed away. Feeling a bit bored she raided the doctor's wife's closet. Kyoko had good taste in fashion she had noticed as she had rifled through the woman's clothes.

Kyoko was in the Hospital, She had overheard from the Village as she went to get groceries.

Next Day

That boy was dead and his mother left the Village so the kid's father was alone. "Hopefully that boy does not become a Shiki," She said as she tended to her plants in the Greenhouse. Walking up the curling stairs she walked to the side door that led her up to the roof where their was a balcony.

Feeling the wind hit her Yukata she sat down under the protection of the cabana. "That kid is to much trouble," She said to herself without anyone overhearing her. By now their Clinic and Funeral Home was up and running.

Later that night the stars glowed brightly as she cheerfully wandered around to find a glowing pink Megumi. Twirling around Megumi hummed cheerfully, the girl wore bright pink and small bits of colorful bright colors. "I feel good ! Making someone I hate suffer feels really great !" Wearing some of Kyoko's clothes she skipped behind.

Next Day

She had baked some fresh cookies and went to the Hospital. Looking friendly and harmless in her summer dress she skipped to the door. "Hello, may I come in~?" She asked cheerfully. The scent of fresh blood that most have belonged to Kyoko. The quick beeping sound was heard by her keen ears.

So the good Doctor's going to let his Wife die and maybe experiment on her if she becomes a Shiki, She thought. What a cruel man, if she does rise I'll have to act fast. As a nurse appeared, the more manly woman one. "You can come in Miss. No need to ask," She said.  

Giving the human a cheerful smile she replied childishly,"I was taught to ask permission~." Looking a bit caught off guard she brought back her pure breeding attitude,"I baked some fresh cookies for everyone." When the Nurses went back to each other she picked up their conversation.

The poor fools thought their 'Good Sensei' was trying to help his wife. She all most lost her mask of good breeding by laughing. When she spotted the Doctor with another ice-bag she left unnoticed.
