Nao's Mother in Law was still being guarded at that clinic. She had even followed Nao when she went to see her Mother in Law when the doctor opened the second story window shouting, "I will not allow you to enter without permission. Beat it already !"

Once again it was sunny. Does the sun ever take a break ? she thought. She was in a grouchy mood, it seemed to be always sunny and that doctor probably felt really smug about stopping them from getting Nao's Mother in Law. They were going to need Tatsumi's help.

Nao now had been a Shiki for 49 days, not that it mattered to point that out but it must be hard for her and her human family. That bright boring day Tatsumi went to meet the doctor's wife, Kyouko. From what she had seen and heard the doctor's mother was a old hag from hell that was rather full of the family name she married into.

Well that was what Tatsumi told her that night. She had felt a twinge of jealousy hearing this. I guess I have a crush on the guy, she thought. She had not met the guy when he was a human or when he became a Shiki Jinrou . He had never been cruel or sadistic to her only kind and respectful to her even through he was Sunako's Right Hand man.

That night Tatsumi had some of the other Shikis along with Nao to go to the Clinic. She had went ahead of the others to shut off the clinic's power. Now in darkness they had an advantage in being able to see in the dark. "Mother," She heard Nao call out. The Clinic was surrounded by Shiki's, there was no way the humans could leave this night.

As the light flickered on Tatsumi who was now wearing his red jumpsuits attacked the doctor from behind who was trying to stop the Mother in Law. "Hi ! Nice to meet you, Doctor Ozaki," Tatsumi greeted. "You..How...? Setsuko !" Doctor Ozaki yelled. "My name is Tatsumi," Tatsumi said as he picked up the doctor. "I'm Violet !" She added in a friendly tone.

Kneeing the human in the got Tatsumi let go of the human."Toshiro ! Did something happen !" She heard Mr. Muroi's voice ask. Giving the doctor a final kick Tatsumi jumped to the widow and she followed a second behind him."We won't kill you. We've been told not to mess with you yet, doctor."

Picking up the frail human Tatsumi opened the window with his foot. "Well, lets go now," He said. "S-Setsuko !" Giving them a grin Tatsumi jumped down with ease with her right beside him. once settled down Nao ran to them with a happy face. "Mother !" She called. "Nao."

Embracing her mother in a loving hug Nao went for the neck. With that the rest of the Shiki who went with them covered the human woman and bit her. With more than four Shiki feeding on the human, well she would die and hopefully become a Shiki for Nao's sake. And all the while the human's watched from the window Tatsumi made a salute.

They finished her off in one shot. The doctor would not be able to hide her from them anymore. While they were in the forest they all heard a angry yell, most likely from a really frustrated doctor who they stole his patient. "Hm ?" Said the one Shiki that she had caught in the graveyard taking a dirt nap.

"Where's Megumi ?" "Oh yeah. She's not here," Nao said absentmindedly. "Maybe she went on ahead and went back ?" Turning to them Tatsumi said, "Don't worry about her...I know where she went." To that Yuuki boy she's been stalking, she thought from her spot next to Tatsumi.
