Taeyong's POV
"Ma, are you sure you want to come and see Jennie?" I asked anxiously.
I remember specifically how Jennie kept telling me how she hated parents, especially mums. But I couldn't say that to my own mother.
"Of course silly! Jennie is like my little girl, its been a while since I saw that little one." She hissed as she went to her room and got dressed leaving me at the front door waiting for her.
"Ma don't worry, Jennie will be happy to see you, you don't need to put THAT much make-up on." I muttered pretending not to say anything as I started the car and started to drive.
"I heard that my boy, and I guess you're right. It's been a while since I saw Jennie, like I said, I want her to see me as a mother that she needs." Ma said happily.
"Was I not enough for you?" I sarcastically said making Ma laugh even more. (A/n - Remember James Charles's 'Was the 95 not enough for you' to Charli lmao)
"Son your all I have left. Of course you mean a lot to me! My smoll boi." I chuckled at her response.

Finally reaching at Jennie's mansion, Ma looked so happy and shocked, same impression as me I guess. Jennie's house did change over the years as I could tell by Ma's face.
"No worries Kid! Let's see Jennie."
We both walked over to the front door and I begged and prayed that this time she would open the door then last time with me jumping though her fence.
Knock. Knock. Knock
No response.
Not now Jennie, please open the door..
"Aish boy! No one can't hear with your quiet knocks. Watch."
KNOCK. KNOCK. KNOCK.
No response. This time I smirked at my mother in victory until suddenly, the front door opened widely to see a beautiful figure, no other than Kim Jennie.

"아줌마! (Auntie)" Jennie wailed happily. "My little Jennie!" Jennie and Ma hugged like they never seen each other for a long long time, I mean, I guess they didn't.
"내 귀염둥이 I missed you so much dear, how are you?" Ma asked as I smiled at her then at Jennie who was staring at me.
"Im fine! Please Come In, 아줌마" Jennie greeted us in was I smiled and walked inside with Ma.
"Its Ma for you, if you call me Auntie, its like a curse word for me young miss," Ma joked as Jennie laughed with her.
"Yes Ma, please take a seat here." Jennie showed us to her living room even though I've already been.
"Son! Your being so quiet to JenJen! Talk with her!" Ma insisted as I sighed and bowed at Jennie.
Did Ma already forget I knew her?
"Haha..I'm going to go and make coffee for you guys!" Jennie smiled as she went over to the kitchen.
No wonder how Jennie can be good at hiding things.
"Ma I'm-" I was about to ask until I noticed how Ma was observing the ripped and teared up pictures of Jennie's family.
"Aish, she really hated them, didn't she?" Ma muttered as she shook her head disappointedly.
Ma knew?
"Of course I knew Son, Mrs Kim was my best friend, I know how she is with her daughters. If only things were better, anyways you go help Jennie and I'll be myself wondering around." And soon she vanished inside somewhere in the house.
I sighed and went over to Jennie who was making coffee.
"I miss your mother." She spoke while making the coffee.
"Sorry if she was being a little annoying, she really missed you Jennie."
"Its not her being annoying, its probably me! Its been a while since I had proper guests here.." She muttered finally finishing with the coffee.
"Mhmm lemme try some." My dumb ass sipped it so quickly I burned my tongue.
"Taeyong! Your so stupid, ugh, here." Jennie dashed to take a wet paper towel and pressed it down my tongue. We stayed quiet until our eyes locked with eachother, I noticed how she was blushing and felt my own shyness exploding.
"Well, Well, Well, what do we have here." As soon as we both heard Ma's voice she immediately let go of the wet paper towel and went to grab her tea to give Ma.
"Is it too hot Ma? Is this okay? Should I make another one-" Jennie was soon cut off my my own mother.
"Dear its okay, I'm going to get going, Taeyong son, help Jennie okay? But first drop me home! It's freezing out there!!"

"Ready Ma? Can I drive now?" I asked as Ma waved Jennie goodbye.
"Yes son, drive away."
There was a long pause until Ma decided to start talking and break the silence.
"Taeyong, I know its been a while but,
Do you like Jennie?"
