Okay, I don't really think about Starspeaker and Sunnyflight too much (or at all really) but I had an idea for this ship and I HAD to make a one-shot of it!
I'm not sure what I think about Fatespeaker. Starflight liked (ahem ahem *cough* loved *cough*) Sunny first and then Fatespeaker comes along, but at the same time Sunny did friend zone him, but I still feel like he had more feelings for her. Fatespeaker is pretty nice to him though, and she's pretty silly with her "visions".
Oh, heads up this is a Human AU one-shot so keep that in mind. Also, I was rereading this, and let me say in advance: GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF THE GUTTER!
~Fatespeaker's pov~
<><><><><>Fatespeaker sighed and paced around her college dorm room. "Where is he?" She groaned and flopped onto her bed. She grabbed her phone and checked the time. 11:45 PM. I know I told him to come at midnight, but he's always early, even if it's a bit annoying. Man, the one time I need him to be early! She just hoped that Starflight would come before she lost the guts to say what she wanted to say.
Hopefully, he didn't study all night or something. She chuckled to herself. That really did sound like something he would do. She walked over to her mirror to adjust her tear-drop earrings she was wearing and fixed her hair. She started fidgeting with her silver bracelet when she heard something outside.
Knock knock
"Coming!" Fatespeaker walked away from the mirror and turned the door handle. She opened the door to see a young boy a little taller than her. He had lush, raven hair, and his glasses reflected the light from her window.
"Hey, Fate," Starflight said. "What did y--"
"Starflight! Come on!" Fatespeaker grabbed Starflight's hand and yanked him through the doorway. Starflight let out a quiet yelp and she shut the door behind them. She turned around and saw Starflight nervously fiddling with his thumbs.
"Um, am I too early? I can come back if you want I just..."
"No, it's perfect!" She looked at him and caught him staring at her. "What is it?"
"N-nothing," Starflight said and looked away. "I've just...never seen you in casual clothes before."
Fatespeaker looked down and realized she was in her pajamas. It was true, she usually dressed in cute skirts and T-shirts or sweaters. Not to impress anyone, really, but it's just what she liked to wear.
"So, what'd you want to talk about, Fate?"
Fatespeaker looked down and blushed. Every time he used that nickname on her...it just sent butterflies in her stomach. But it wasn't he nickname that caused that, it was that cute smile he made whenever he said it.
Getting out of her thoughts, she shook her head and cleared her throat. "Ahem, um, yeah. That..."
"Is something wrong?" Starflight asked. Fatespeaker sighed and sat down on her bed. Starflight followed and put a hand on her back. "You can tell me, you know."
"I know that." She smiled and looked at Starflight, who responded with a grin of his own. Fatespeaker loved his smile. She glanced at his lips and wondered if...if--STOP GETTING DISTRACTED AND FOCUS ON WHAT'S IMPORTANT!
"So, what is it?" Starflight pressed on. He nervously scooted closer to her and moved his hand to her shoulder, which didn't make her any less flustered. Starflight was always shy around other people, but for some reason, he was more open with her. For Fatespeaker it was the exact opposite: when she was around others she babbled on and on, but put her in a room with her best friend and she completely lost it.
