I opened my eyes and felt a pair of arms around me. I looked up and saw that I was in Daniel's bed. I quickly got up of his bed and sat in mine. "Shoot! I wasn't supposed to go to sleep!" I facepalmed myself and saw that Daniel was awake. "Morning (y/n)!" He said with a smile. "Morning LaRusso." I smiled, then got ready for the day.
I was on the couch waiting for Daniel to finish brushing his teeth. "C'mon, let's go!" He said, signaling me to get up and go. I jumped up from the couch and followed him out the door. We started walking down the stairs and headed to school. "Where'd you go last night?" Daniel asked. I looked at him, so told him where I went. "I know you like him, you don't have to lie to me." He said a bit angrily. "I do NOT! He told me he liked me, then kissed me. I pushed him away and told him that I don't like him that way." I said. "He kissed you?!" He asked in disgust. "YES! BUT I DON'T LIKE HIM! When he kissed me, I didn't like it. I didn't get that feeling I get when you would kiss me." I said that last sentence quietly.
"I read that paper that was under your pillow," Daniel looked at me with his eyes widened. "I'm sorry for snooping around, but, that was really sweet. You still like me?" I said. He nodded his head, "Yeah". I looked at the ground and smiled to myself. "You know, it was nice to sleep next to you and have you in my arms again." He smiled. "Can we try again? I know, it's too soon, but I want you back! I need you! Please? Can we try again?" Daniel begged. I thought about it, and said, "I li- love you, but it's too soon." He looked down and frowned a bit. "Maybe... we can try in a couple weeks?" He looked up, and smiled a bit. "Sure. I'll wait." We smiled at each other and went headed walked into the school.
