"GET OUT OF HERE! I don't want to see your face ever again!" I heard my mom yell. "I WILL!" my dad yelled back. He had his stuff packed and walked out the door and slammed it. My mom fell on her knees and broke down in tears. My mom found out that my dad was having an affair with another woman. I was kind of upset. I went up to my mom and wrapped my arms around her. "I'm sorry mom" I said trying to comfort her. I stayed there on the floor with her for a couple of minutes. She got up and so did I. I watched her walk to her room and shut the door behind her. I decided to leave her alone and walked out to Daniel's place. I wanted someone to talk to, and Daniel was the only person I trusted. I knocked on the door and he opened up. "Hi (y/n)!" he said with a smile. "Hey Daniel." I said looking down at the floor. "(Y/n), are you ok?" His smile kind of faded. I tried my best not to cry, but I couldn't hold it in any longer. I shook my head and started crying. Daniel held out his arms and pulled me in. I put my arms around his neck and my tears fell on his chest, making his shirt wet. "Shhh, it's alright. Come inside, tell me what happened" We pulled away and went to his room. He shut the door behind him and sat down next to me on his bed. "(Y/n), you wanna tell me what happened?" I wiped my tears and sighed. "My parents got into a fight, they're going to divorce. My dad was having an affair with another woman and my mom found out. He had a suit case with his stuff in there and left. I don't care that he left, I don't. I'm just worried about my mom. He was the love of her life. I don't know what to do!" There was a pause. Daniel grabbed my hand and said, "I'm sorry (y/n)" 

I stopped crying after a while, but now I was mad. How could he leave her like that? Didn't he love her? Why? Just why? Why did he leave her? I wanted to punch him. I was mad at my father for leaving my mom. But then I realized that being mad at him wasn't going to solve anything. I sat there, trying not to think about what just happened. Daniel was there next to me, just staring at me. "Are you ok now?" "Yeah, I am." I said. "I'll always be here for you, you hear me?" Daniel said hugging me. "Yeah, thank you." I grabbed his arm that was around my neck and held it. "I'm so lucky to have someone like you Daniel." I kissed his arm and he kissed the top of my head. "I love you (y/n), I always have, and I always will." I looked at him and smiled, "I love you too Daniel." He leaned in and kissed me. I kissed back, it was a short, but passionate kiss. We pulled away and he held me in his arms. We laid down on his bed and he wrapped his arm around my waist. It felt nice having someone there to comfort me. I fell asleep and so did Daniel.
