I woke up did the same thing I always do when I wake up, get ready for the day. Once I was done, I turned on the TV and waited for Daniel to finish getting ready. I heard a knock on the door, so I got up and opened it. "Hey (y/n)!" It was Nathan. "Oh, hi Nathan. Uhhh, what are you doing here?" I asked with confusion. "I came to ask if you wanted to walk to school together?" "Umm..." I wanted to wait for Daniel, but he was taking a while, so I decided just to go.  "Yeah! Sure." I got my stuff and saw Mrs. LaRusso walk out. "Oh, morning Mrs. L!" I greeted. "Good morning (y/n)!" She said with a smile. "Hey, if Daniel ask where I am, tell him I'm at school already." I told her. "Oh, um, ok! See you later! Love you sweetie!" I smiled and said, "Love you too!" then left. I closed the door behind me and started walking down the stairs with Nathan. "How ya doing?" He asked. "I'm doing well, how about you?" "I'm doing great!" he said in such an excited way, it was kind of cute and it made me laugh for some reason.

 We started to asking each other questions to get to know each other better. "What's your favorite color?" he asked. "I have a few, but if I had to pick only one, it would be (your favorite color)."  I answered. "No way! I like that color too!" Nathan said. I laughed and smiled at him. We kept talking and asking questions. Nathan has a great sense of humor, but not as great as Daniel's. 

We got to school and went to our lockers. "Hey, where were you? My mom told me you went to school already, why didn't you wait for me?" I heard someone say, so I turned around to see who it was. It was Daniel. "I'm sorry, I came with Nathan. He came by and offered to take me to school. I said yes just to be nice. I was going to wait for you, but you were taking a while. I'm sorry. We walk together again tomorrow?" He just looked at me. He looked a little upset/mad. "Daniel? You ok?" I asked, putting my hand on his cheek.  His eyes softened. I realized what I did, and quickly put my hand back to my side. "Sorry..." I said, looking down at the ground. "Uh yeah, yeah I'm ok. Sure, let's school together tomorrow." He said, then smiled. I smiled back, then walked to class. 

Daniel's POV:

"I'm sorry, I came with Nathan." Nathan. Of course she went with him. She probably likes him. I was getting upset and a little mad. Nathan was taking (y/n) away from me. I'm supposed to be the one who takes (y/n) to school, I'M supposed to be the one making her laugh! A wave of jealousy and anger went through me. "Daniel? You ok?" She said, putting her hand on my cheek. I looked at her and all the anger went away. I loved it when she did that. "Sorry..." she said, then put her hand on her side. I wanted to take her hand and hold it close to me, but I couldn't. I miss when we were dating. I would love to ask her if we can try again, but it was too soon. I love her, I always have and always will. I know she's the one for me, I just know it. I wouldn't want to date anyone other than her. "Uh yeah, yeah I'm ok. Sure, let's walk together tomorrow." I said with a smile. She smiled back, then walked to her class. 

I wish we could be together again...
