Like A Fairytale
Everyday is just the same,
Almost identical that of yesterday.
Then one day, I felt something new,
And I don’t know if it’s because of you.
We used to chat to each other,
But one day we try to distant from one another.
Maybe because we’re on the edge of the line,
And from that day on I tried to be fine.
They use to tease you and me,
And that made us treat each other awkwardly.
Maybe you’re a bit insecure,
But what is that for?
One day, we keep on disagreeing to each other,
And it’s like it will be forever.
But one day, you were very quiet,
And I suddenly missed all our disagreements.
I was so curious of your behavior that day,
I just felt you are not okay.
I also felt that something’s bothering you,
But I am so shy to ask to you,
“Why are you not you today?”
I was shocked when I found a letter,
The moment when I opened my locker.
I was so surprise it is from you,
And I do not know what to do.
Through the letter you confessed your feelings,
But I am not sure if it’s the truth your saying.
I was confused that day and maybe ‘til forever,
But I try to pull myself together.
I went to our classroom to ask you,
“Are you making fun of me or this is true?”
But when I am about to enter the room,
I was shocked ‘coz it was full of balloons.
Then I saw you standing in the middle,
Holding a bunch of my favorite flowers,
You are so formal I almost giggle,
And you were so blooming like a flower
Then I started to walk slowly,
‘Only background music is missing’ I thought so silly.
I really don’t know what to say,
And I think my heart melted away.
Then I heard my favorite tune,
And you asked me to dance with you.
You offered your hand to me,
And I accepted it wholeheartedly.
We sway as the music is playing,
I can’t explain what I am feeling.
Then you said “I love you…
I am feeling this since I saw you.”
I replied, “I love you too, alright!”
“You’re such an idiot you didn’t notice it!”
Then you hugged me very tight,
And I can hear your heart beating inside.
You smiled to me like there’s no tomorrow,
In your eyes you’re feelings show.
You kissed my forehead sweetly,
And I felt, you belong with me.
We loved each other endlessly,
You and I were meant to be.
And this is our love story,
It may not be like a fairytale everyone wishes to be.
