We were good friends since childhood,
I always remind you to be good.
We were "partners in crime" forever,
And make our parents worry together.
Your father died when you were just six,
And your mother tried to get everything fix.
One day, my father married your mother,
Oh heaven! Now you're my brother!
As we grow old, you became my "big brother"
And I would be your "little sister".
You played your role good enough,
'Coz everytime we're together you make me laugh.
One day you told me about your feelings,
And I confessed the same thing.
That night, we told it to our parents
And they didn't seem to be happy even an inch.
They have forbidden our relationship
And you were force to sail on a trip.
I tried to stop you, but they won't let me,
So you went away without seeing me.
Many years passed but still I love you,
Then one day, you came back but someone's with you.
You told us that she's your fiancée,
My world fell apart that very day.
On your wedding day, you were very sad,
For I know that I am the bride you want.
I was shocked, when you came to me,
And grab my hand saying "Please go with me"
We runaway together leaving your bride,
And search for a place where we can hide.
Years passed and we have three children,
And we decided to go back to our parents then.
When we arrived they accepted us wholeheartedly,
And they told us, they shouldn't have done that to you and me.
