"GET OUT I'M STILL CHANGING!!"
The girl throws a shoe at the bedroom door just as Sunghoon slams the door shut, eyes wide in surprise of what he'd almost seen. He lets go of the doorknob and his hands fly towards his eyes, covering them. "I-I'm sorry!" he says, his face red in embarrassment.
"As you should be," Mia says through the door, scoffing as she throws a shirt over her head, followed by a hoodie. Sunghoon can hear her silently cussing her out, but he's too embarrassed to say anything back. He then hears her footsteps coming towards the door. Mia opens the door, instantly laughing at the boy's reaction. "Goddamn," she says. "Why so desperate?"
"Shut up," Sunghoon says, avoiding eye contact with her. "It was an accident."
"Yeah, yeah," she smiles and pats his back, walking past him. "Keep telling yourself that."
"I'm not a pervert!"
"Whatever you say," the girl teases him, opening the front door for him. He glares at Mia, but walks out anyway. "Now," Mia closes the door and clasps her hands together, smiling at Sunghoon, "what shall we do today?"
"Pippi Longstocking, is that you?" Sunghoon asks jokingly, making Mia snort as she walks beside him. He hums, thinking. "Well, we could always just go to Jake's."
"That is a wonderful idea- no, an amazing idea. The best of the bestest ideas Park Sunghoon has ever had. Let's go to Jake's!"
"I was kidding."
"Well shit."
Silence falls upon them, Mia both awkward and embarrassed. She silently curses the sun for shining and wishes the ground would swallow her whole right that second. Sunghoon can clearly sense her awkwardness, but knows it's best not to acknowledge it. Instead, he gasps, catching Mia's attention. "Let's go eat!" he says, as if it were the most brilliant thing he could've came up with.
Mia's face lights up at the mention of food as she starts jumping up and down in excitement. "Yes!" she says, linking arms with Sunghoon. "I'll lead the way, you can pay." Surprisingly, the boy doesn't complain and nods along to whatever she says.
He doesn't really care as long as he gets to see her smile.
