Sunghoon sighs tiredly, watching as Mia curls into a ball on the couch and groans in pain. "I should have stayed over," he says to himself, shaking his head. "Nothing ever goes the right way when you're alone."
"Stop talking and give me the chocolate," Mia whines, reaching her hand out for him to give her the bar of Hershey's he had bought at the store - of course, Sunghoon still believed KitKats reigned superior.
"Not yet," he says. "You need to learn your lesson."
"And what is that?" she asks annoyed.
"That this is what happens when you drink too much and don't go to bed early," Sunghoon says. "Gosh, Mia. I thought you knew better."
"Screw you, give me the chocolate." Mia glares at Sunghoon and continues to hold out her hand, waiting for him to place the chocolate bar in her palm. He refuses, however, shaking his head. "Oh, come on!"
"Shut up, will you?!" The couple turn to look at Yeonjun, who had been laying on the floor on top of Beomgyu (who was still passed out). "You're so fucking loud!"
"Oh, shut up!" Soobin says from the other side of the living room. "You're just as loud as they are!"
"You're louder than I am!"
They continue to argue, completely ignoring the other two who watched curiously. "They fight like a married couple," Mia says as Sunghoon takes a seat beside her, nodding and watching them in curiosity, mentally taking notes. Arguing - che--
"If you fight me, I will rip your arm off, Park."
Don't argue with Mia - check.
As Yeonjun and Soobin's bickering gets louder, both Mia and Sunghoon watched them, intrigued. Sunghoon's eyes went from Soobin to Yeonjun, then back to Soobin, trying to remember why they were arguing in the first place. It wasn't until Mia pulled on his sleeve that he turned to look at her. "Hm?" he hummed, looking down at the girl with her legs crossed on the couch.
Mia held out her hand and smiled, "Can I have my chocolate now?"
Sunghoon stared at her, blinking several times. He then realized that he still hadn't given the girl her Hershey's bar - which was the only reason he had woken up so early in the morning. "Oh," he said, reaching into his pocket and pulling out the chocolate bar. He gives her a small smile and places it in her hand. "Here you go."
Mia's face lights up, her eyes twinkling. Sunghoon watches as Mia unwrapped the chocolate impatiently. She laughs to herself when she finally does and throws the wrapper to the side, biting into the chocolate bar. Sunghoon snorts. "You're more happy to eat chocolate than to see me," he says.
"Hey," Mia says with a mouthful of chocolate, pointing at him. "Know your limits." She turns away from him and continues to eat, making Sunghoon laugh. He raises his hand and gently pets her head. Mia stops. Her reaction makes Sunghoon feel as if he'd done something wrong, causing him to pull his hand back. She then looks up at him confused. "Why'd you stop?" she asks, tilting her head to the side.
Mia's question leaves Sunghoon dumbfounded. "I- I thought I had hurt you," he says, struggling to find the right words. "You're hungover, right?"
Mia stares at him. She doesn't say anything to him. Instead, she grabs Sunghoon's wrist and places it on top of her head. "Do it again," she says in a quiet voice. Sunghoon blinks but does as she says. Almost instantly, a smile appears on Mia's face and she giggles childishly, biting into the chocolate again.
It takes a while for Sunghoon to react but when he does, Mia swears she's looking at an angel.
"You're adorable," Sunghoon says.
"I know," Mia smiles.
You are, too.
