"I don't have anything to do in mind. Tell me what I should do." I got comfy on my chair, tapping my fingertips against the surface of my desk as I watch all the comments file in.

I was currently in my own studio that I had bought for myself. Me and Jihoon used to share his studio but I got uneasy and paranoid that he would find it annoying that I was invading his space so I ended up buying my own with my money, even if the company said that they'd pay for it.

The studio wasn't really solely based for making songs. That was what Jihoon does. I think it was just a place for me to be free and alone. The dorm is always filled with noise and there was always a playful atmosphere. Not that I didn't like the fun energy, it's just that sometimes, I still need some peace and silence.

My eyes settle on the humidifier at the corner of my desk. It was gifted to me by Seokmin, saying that he'd be visiting me so he could practice with his singing.

After realizing that I had spaced out, I shook my head as I looked back to the screen in front of me.

"Can you sing for us? No." I joked around, silently picking up the bluetooth microphone that Seokmin and Seungkwan had bought for me. They said that it was for me, yet it was they who would always use it.

"I worked on this song... last week, I think? Anyways, I hope you guys like it." Typing onto my computer to find the backing soundtrack that I had recorded, I patiently but speedily looked through my files.

I quickly played it through the speakers, as a mellow melody reached my ears.

"You guys can hear it right?" I asked, before bringing the microphone to my lips. Seeing comments affirm my question, I smiled, as I waited for the right timing to sing. Hearing the certain beat, I parted my lips to sing.

I had wanted to be in both the Vocal and Performance unit, because it was my dream to both dance and sing. But I had taken more of my time dancing, so I ended up just joining the Performance Unit.

I'd sometimes sing the Vocal Unit's tracks, wishing that I was apart of them. Not that I didn't like the Performance Unit, I love dancing and most especially our hype tracks. It's just that I really love singing too. I'm just glad that I'm given a time to create my own songs, and sometimes showcase them, like right now.

As the music fades away, I open my eyes that I hadn't realized I had closed as a smile instantly tugged on my lips.

"It's nice, right?" I licked my lips, as I set the microphone down. I hadn't realized that the music was set on loop, so it had played again, the music reaching my ears.

I let out a chuckle, letting the backing track play as a background music for the entire live. I lowered the volume, not wanting the Carats to only focus on the music.

"I'm sure you guys won't be satisfied with me just singing so what else do you guys have in mind?"
