Chapter 54

No one P.O.V

Seungyeon has invited Jeongguk, Taehyung, and Jeonghyun to her palace. Taehyung was happy to come back to his house. Seungyeon gave the family a tour that Taehyung took many pictures to put in his photo albums. Jeonghyun was about to touch somethings but Jeongguk makes sure he doesn't touch a single thing. Seungyeon notices that her grandson wanted to touch something that she stops her track in front of a room. She opens the door and went inside and came back with a baby shark plush that can sing. She gave it to Jeonghyun, Jeonghyum took the plush that a smile forms on his face. He reaches out his hand to his grandma, Seungyeon gladly took him in her arms. "That is a baby shark, you like him?" Seungyeon asked Jeonghyun who was looking at the plush toy in wonder. "Yah." Jeonghyun answer that saliva started coming out of his mouth down his chin and onto his drool bib. "Is he teething?" Seungyeon asked as she wipes off his drool with his drool bib. 

"Yeah, he has started teething he is just drooling now," Taehyung answered. 

 Seungyeon nodded her head. "Your highness, Jihyo has come back." The guard said. Seungyeon's face change from a happy expression to a furious expression. "Mom are you okay? why do you look so mad?" Taehyung asked his mother. "No, I'm not okay," Seungyeon said with honesty. 

  "Bring her to my private living room," Seungyeon commanded.

The guard nodded his head and went to assist Jihyo to the living room.

Seungyeon sighed and just lead the family to her private living room. 

When they got in the living room Jihyo was there who seems to be waiting.  the moment Jihyo saw Taehyung she got up and ran up to him giving him a bear hug. "Taehyungie I miss you so much that I think of you every day," Jihyo said with a smile. Taehyung hugged her back then broke the hug and looked at her with a smile. "I miss you too aunty,"  Taehyung said.

"This relationship is nice and all. But right now Jihyo I want answers from you." Seungyeon said as she sat down on the couch.  Jihyo sat down on the couch as well facing her sister. 

"Jihyo tell me why did you sell my son to Jeongguk?" Seungyeon asks as she helps Jeonghyun sit up on her lap. 

"Well, you see He was getting closer that he knew where we lived. The good thing is that Jeongguk liked Taehyung so we made a deal.

Flashback to 3 years ago.

Jeongguk knocks on The Kim's door. Jihyo opens the door letting Jeongguk in. They both went into the living room and sat down. 

"I want your son." Jeongguk said.

"B-But why?" 

"Well, I like him a lot that I would do anything for him," Jeongguk said with a smile.

"I heard He knows where Taehyung is now. Let's make a deal." Jeongguk suggested.

"What is the deal?" Jihyo asked.

"How about you give me Taehyung and I'll make sure He doesn't chase after Taehyung," Jeongguk said.

Jihyo stops to think about it. "If Taehyung stays with Jeongguk then He won't come after Taehyung anymore." Jihyo thought.

"Deal, I'll give you Taehyung but don't tell him about this He thing okay. And protect him as well I don't want to fail both of his parents." Jihyo said as tears started sliding down her cheeks.

"Are you sure, is that your final answer?" Jeongguk asked as he rose an eyebrow.

"Yes, I'm sure. This is for Taehyung, I want to keep him safe." Jihyo said as she started crying.
