Leah's pov
I slowly open my eyes and smile as I see Sugar's tattooed chest. I groan, not wanting to leave his warmth, but needing to go to the bathroom. I sit up and Sugar groans as well. I kiss his cheek before getting up, grunting as I take the full weight of my belly.
"Go help Noen baby."I say.
"Mmm"he groans, covering his head with the blanket.
I chuckle as I walk to the bathroom. I stop to look at myself in the mirror.
That's not the Leah I know.
So much has changed. I run my fingers over my smooth baby bump and smile as I feel them move under my touch.
"Thought of names yet?"Sugar asks, walking past me to the toilet.
"Kind of."I shrug.
"Kind of?"he chuckles, looking back at me.
"I hadn't really thought about it when we were with Jord. I figured I'd name them after you and Joey if they were boys. I don't know."I say as he finishes peeing.
"That's a good idea, the Junior's thing. But not right now."He says, walking over to the sink.
"What?"i chuckle.
"This is your first pregnancy. The names should be something you choose. Juniors are for the second pregnancy."He smiles.
"Sugar, I swear to god if you knock me up again."I say.
"No promises. I regret nothing."he snaps back.
...
Sugar's pov
I walk out of the bedroom, looking for Noen. I stop walking abruptly at the sight of him and Ethan eating breakfast together, chatting. I slightly smile, seeing them like this. Leah hobbles out besides me, stopping to admire the sight as well.
"Awe"she says quietly.
I nod, folding my arms.
"Your a good dad."She smiles before walking past.
I chuckle as I follow behind her.
"Good morning boys."I say as we both enter the kitchen.
"Uncle."Noen responds.
Ethan stays quiet, picking at his food.
"Did you sleep well?"Leah asks.
"I can never really tell."Noen huffs sarcastically in response.
I flick his ear and he jumps.
"Be nice."I demand.
....
Leah's pov
I bite the inside of my cheek as I discreetly hold my hip. I hear the boys conversating as I make Sugar's coffee. The hip pain started yesterday night, after Ethan and I talked. I turn, handing Sugar his coffee cup.
"Thanks baby."He says, kissing my cheek.
I chuckle as I walk towards the fridge. I had an uncomfortable feeling in the pit of my stomach. It wasn't just the babies. I felt like something was wrong. I look to Ethan, who I could tell was having the same issue.
We make eye contact for a moment. Then he looks at my belly and gives off a concerned look. I look down at it as well. Then look up at him, shaking my head.
"Did you hear me, Leah?"I hear Sugar ask.
"What?"i ask.
"We're stopping by the hospital today, they're expecting me. I'm excited to get back to work."He says.
