***Present day, outside of the facility.***

Annabeth had been gone... for four years she thought herself the only survivor, besides one Akari Zin and her two brothers. She had just recently found out how wrong she had been.

The Curator and the Elders had finally given her her freedom when they had sent her on a mission where she found a Red Dragon and beat the living hell out of him to try and get information from him on where she could find Ryu.

They had reviewed that mission at least a hundred times before they deemed her uncontrollable after her last mission. They let her go and severed her connection to the facility. But she had learned so very much in those four years.

Robin Jones, her lover came up behind her and hugged. "What are you doing over here?"

Annabeth giggled and turned her head to kiss Robin on the cheek. "Well, while somebody was sleeping, some of us had documents to pour over and information to decipher."

Robin mockingly acted taken aback. "Not my fault I had trouble sleeping because SOMEONE snores." She grabbed a muffin and walked off biting into it.

Annabeth glared at Robin as she walked away. "I don't snore!" She protested. But she knew Robin was right. She had been stuffy recently. She had been crying a lot at night when Robin was asleep. She still had trouble accepting that Robin was indeed still alive.

She smiled, shaking her head. So much time had passed. So many things to catch up on.

She returned to the black book as she heard the shower turn on. She had a list of names written down with numbers to call. She also had a long list of bank accounts, domestic and offshore.

Those would take the most time to get access to. She would need paperwork stating death of previous owner, proof the accounts were left for her, which were in Azazel's will....

She had all the time she could ask for in regard to finishing what she needed to do, but it felt like she had a lot less time than she actually did. Ever since she found out that Robin was still alive, there was nothing else she wanted to do than protect her. Her goals of revenge... were they wavering? Disappearing even?

So much to do in regard to re-establishing the Labyrinths. New potential recruits, a new facility they still needed to fully explore. So much. So little time in the day to accomplish what she was planning.
