(A/N: so I have exams this week 😅 but I'm also trying to update more often! So in order to do both I had to split chapter six into two parts....I won't leave you on too much of a cliffhanger going from part one two part two don't worry! Fair warning though, idk when part two will be up all I do know that it will be done by the end of this week! Thank you so much for your patience!!)
Suddenly, we heard a man's voice coming from outside the trap door.
"Open up! We've got the place surrounded!" Jay's eyes went wide.
"Who's that?!" I asked while also trying to figure out how I'd even get up off the freaking couch.
"Not sure, but I might have some idea." I looked over hoping to see Jay's bright smile, but instead saw the numb look that was now on his face. That's when I knew we were really in trouble.
"Hey! I said open up!" the unidentified voice called, getting angrier by the minute.
"We have to go. Now." Jay mumbled, barely audible to me from across the couch.
"What do you mean?? Who is that?!" I asked again, starting to really panic.
Jay stayed silent, getting up from his side of the couch and walking over to mine.
"Hello?! Who is tha-" Before I could answer my question Jay pulled me to stand up, put my arm around his shoulders, and ran out of the house.
(A/N: sorry this is so short guys! I was trying to save some for part two so that things don't get too boring for the reader! speaking of the reader, I was wondering if you guys would want to suggest anything to happen in the story? since this is ongoing I thought I'd put some events in from the readers' suggestions! one rule though, I don't do lemon sorry!
