Into The Woods

Chapter 7: Planning..Saving

They were all in the house now, even though Emily was still kind of upset about Colin throwing her out there to make up a plan. They all went into the living room and sat on the couch, Emily looked down at the floor; she was trying to think. Then Jordan broke the silence, "What are we going to do?" Jordan asked, he looked over at Emily. He was really worried about Melody, Emily could tell.

"We have to make sure we are safe first, we have to before we go into those woods."

"Okay, what do we need?" Jordan asked Emily, he also looked at Colin.

Emily then got off the couch, "We should look around the house, see what we have in this house. Only look for the things that can help us out there." They all went to any room in the house, they all looked around for anything for when they go in the woods, they also wanted to be able to find Melody before something bad happens to her. "Did you find anything?" Emily asked Jordan and Colin.

"I didn't find anything, we might not be able to save Melody..she might be stuck in the woods forever." He said, Emily knew that they could find anything to be able to go into the woods. They were still making a plan for the adventure they are going on.

"Colin, we will get Melody back. She isn't going to be in the woods forever." Emily said to him, since him and Jordan were both worried about Melody.

"Emily, what if she is? We haven't found anything to help us out there. We have lost this battle, she will be there forever and we will never see her again..." Emily could tell that Jordan was the most worried about her, but then he completely gave up.

Colin walked over to him, "Jordan, you need to stop being scared. I know that we are all scared and worried about Melody, but we need to be brave to get through this. We will find Melody." Colin said, he was smiling at Jordan and was trying to make everything easy and calm him down. They were all scared, but they knew Melody more than Emily did. They have been really close to her, Emily just met her when she moved to Georgia. Even though, they were both making sure that Emily wasn't scared of anything they were doing. Colin was the only that knew about her pass, he doesn't want anything like that to happen in her life again. Especially since it was something that made her life the way it is now. Colin doesn't want anything to happen in any of their lives.

After looking around, Emily walked over to Colin. "Maybe we could look around upstairs?" She asked him, since they haven't been upstairs at all.

"We might find something up there, wait..isn't your aunt upstairs sleeping?" Colin asked her.

"Yes she is, but she won't even know that we are up there. She's a deep sleeper, she won't even wake up." Emily said, he looked at her and they all went upstairs.

"Okay, let's look around." Colin said, they all went upstairs and picked directions to go and look around. Emily walked into one of the rooms up there, the room she walked into was her aunt's room. She looked around her room, she was sleeping. Emily then looked behind her and saw the boys behind her.

"Chickens." Emily said, they both looked at her.

"Hey!" Jordan whisper yelled, he felt offended by that.

"Sorry, but you guys are just standing there. There's nothing to be afraid of in this room." Emily said to them.

"There will be if we wake your aunt up." He said, he was still standing in the hallway. Since he was afraid to wake up Emily's aunt.

"I don't think she will wake up, she's a deep sleeper. You can test by yelling in her ears, she won't wake up."

"Whatever you say. Let's look around." Jordan said, he was determined to find a weapon. They all walked around and searched for anything to be a weapon, Emily walked over to her aunt's closet and saw something in there.
