Chapter 11: The End...

They were still at the hospital, Sean was just trying to find a nurse and get the answers he needed. He ran over to the desk and there was no one there, he then finally saw a nurse walking towards them. "Hello, I need some medical help. My cousin here, she has cancer that her father had and she is having a lot of pain in her stomach." Sean tried to be calm, but he was worrying too much.

"We will get a doctor, just come with me." The nurse said and she smiled while walking them to their room. Emily was close to her cousin, they got there and he helped her sit in the hospital bed.

"How are you feeling?" He asked her, she could tell he was worried now.

"It isn't just my stomach anymore...it is also my sides.." She said holding one side and groaning in pain. She knew that one day something bad would happen to her, but she didn't know it would be like this. Even though, her cousin knew about it, she just knew about her father having this kind of cancer. With all the pain she was in, she just kept looking at the tattoo she had when her dad passed away. "I will be with you soon dad, we will be together again." She said to herself. Sean walked over to her and saw her crying he knew that she had that tattoo and it was something that she told her before she told her own mother.

"Hey Emily, I think your father will be happy to see you again."

"You think he will?"

"Yes, I think he will enjoy seeing his little girl again. Especially, if it means it is just you and him together." Sean said, he then looked over at her. "I never want to say goodbye to you, but I don't know when I will be saying that anymore." Sean looked down at the floor, she looked at him and she knew that something bad will happen now. Something the doctor said to her cousin earlier, all she could do was look at Sean.

"If something bad happens, I will miss you Sean..." She said, she had tears rolling down her face now and had a hand on Sean's hand.

"I will miss you too Emily..." Sean said with tears rolling down his face. He put his other hand on top of her hand. She was hugging Sean now, then they both heard the door and looked over. It was the doctor, he was saying a lot of things. Some of it was good news, but most of it was bad news. She just looked at Sean and she hugged him closer to her. After they hugged, some of the pain she had came back; it all just came back when she got sad about everything.

"The pain is back..." She said and groaned in pain. The doctor walked over to her and he saw that the cancer has been getting worse by the second. He then saw how much pain she was in from all of it.

"I think we need to take her in for an x-ray, we need to see what this cancer is doing inside of her." The doctor said, he then walked over to the phone to call some nurses into the room. Sean and Emily sat on the hospital bed together, the doctor and some nurses came into the room. They were bringing her to the emergency room for an x-ray. She kept looking at Sean, Emily didn't know what else to do.

"Will this x-ray show everything?"

"Yes, it will show us everything. We will be able to see where the cancer is and tell how much of it is causing the pain inside of her."

"Hoping it isn't as bad as her father's cancer was..." Sean said to himself, the doctor was telling the nurses everything that he saw in the x-ray. It didn't look so good at all, Sean saw everything and he was scared. He was scared of everything that was happening, he didn't even want Emily to know how bad it is.

"This looks very interesting, it seems like it has spread from this small area in the heart all the way to the side of her stomach." He said looking at the x-rays. "Maybe we should have her here for a couple days and watch this." The doctor said, he then turned to Sean.

"I think that would be a good idea." Sean said, the nurses brought Emily back to her room. Even though Emily was in a lot of pain, Sean agreed to stay near her. He never wanted to leave her side, he was there when she was just sleeping. "Only if you knew how much pain this is to others...your father will see you soon.." Sean started to cry and kissed her forehead, he then fell asleep in the chair. Emily woke up in the middle of the night, she saw Sean holding her hand. She knew something wasn't right at all.

"I really wish they told me how bad this is, it feels like it destroying my insides.." Emily said, she started feeling more pain.

-In The Morning - December 12, 2022 - 6:20 am-

Emily was asleep in bed, she didn't want to be up all night. She then opened her eyes and laid in bed, while Sean was still asleep. She felt herself getting weaker and weaker everyday, she then looked around and she saw Sean was still asleep. "Sean..wake up...I need your help..." She said, shaking his hand. Emily couldn't sit up herself, she needed Sean's help. It took a while until he woke up.

"What is it?" He said, he woke up. "Emily, what are you doing?" He asked her.

"Please, help me sit up. I can't do it myself." She said, she tried to; but Sean got up and helped her sit up. Even though, it was one of the hardest things to do.

"Why can't you sit up by yourself?"

"I don't know, I just couldn't. It's like I couldn't move at all this morning." She looked at him, Sean looked at her and he walked out of the room. He went looking for a doctor, even though; he had the feeling that he should have stayed in Emily's room. Since he knew how bad her cancer was getting.

"Do you know if the doctor that was with my cousin is?"

"Yes, let me call him." The nurse said, she grabbed the phone; but when she did, Sean saw a bunch of people running by. They were all running towards Emily's room. They were going in the way she was, Sean looked at the nurse and he ran to the room.

"Emily, are you o-" He walked into the room and stopped, he saw her. "N-N-No..not now...please. Tell me this is a dream..." He said, he walked closer to her. He saw her body, he knew that her cancer was getting worse. He didn't know it was that bad, he then saw the doctor walk into the room. He looked at Sean and then saw Emily.

"I'm dearly so sorry for your loss, we looked at the x-rays for a couple days and forgot to tell you how bad it was." He looked at Emily, "She seemed like a good kid." He said, even if she had a day there with Sean. She knew that once she was told what stage she was; that something would happen to her. The only thing that was good that she got to see her father once again.

~Heaven~

Even after passing away, Emily looked around her. She was in an area that was bright and it was all white with some clouds. It was weird, she then saw someone coming towards her. It was her father, she ran to him and hugged him. "I've miss you so much, now we can be together forever." She said to him, she looked at him and saw a smile. She was glad to be with him again, she then saw everyone else come over. She saw Colin, Melody and Jordan; she was glad to see them again. She ran over to them and hugged them, she kissed Colin since she has missed him so much. She then forgot about the letter in her pocket. She took it out and he saw it, "Yes." She said to him, he looked at her and smiled. She then saw Lilith, Ryan, Brit and Lucas. They were all so happy to see her too, she also got to see her aunt once again. She was finally with everyone and was happy again, she then saw another person show up...it was Sean...what happened? Did he die of depression? Did he kill himself?

"Hey Emily."

"Se-Sean..." He came over to her and hugged her. "I finally get to be with everyone that made me so happy, so glad I can be here." She said, she never thought she would say that in her whole life.
