As they were all walking to school, they got there. They all walked in together, Emily was looking around the school and saw everything. There was this girl that came running over who was she? She saw Colin's hand in Emily's hand. He looked up and then dropped her hand, she noticed and looked at the ground. The girl got closer to him, Emily looked up and saw the girl. "Who is this? Why were you holding her hand? Are you cheating on me, Colin?" She asked him so many questions.

"Crystal, we broke up last Friday.."

"No we didn't, we're still together. We will be together forever." She said, Emily then saw him roll his eyes. Emily wanted to hold his hand, but he seemed like he wasn't in the mood.

"Crystal!" He yelled, his yell was loud. Everyone that was walking by stopped and looked over at where they were. Emily didn't like it at all.

"Yes, my Colin Bear?"

"We aren't together, never will we be together ever again. Also, this person with me has a name." He looked over at Emily, she then whispered her name to him. "Her name is Emily, she is a new student here and I was about to show her around the school." Colin said to Crystal, she just looked at him and didn't know what to say. He then grabbed Emily's hand and dragged her with him to go a different direction. She could tell he didn't want to deal with her at all today, he seemed happy to be away from Crystal. Emily looked at him and then at their hands, she didn't know what else to do. He seemed happier.

"Colin?"

"Yes." He started to say, he then saw her confused face. "You probably want to know who she was..don't you?" He asked her.

"Yeah, but you seem to know what I wanted to ask you."

"Yeah, well that girl back there is Crystal. I was dating her, but she kind of ruined it..she also is really bossy and didn't like any of my friends. She also flirted with one of the other football players in front of me."

"She was that bad?" Emily asked him, he looked at her.

"Yeah, she was. I wish I never fell for her though, I also wish that love wasn't a feeling at all." He said looking at the ground.

"Why do you say that?" She asked him.

"I've been played by so many girls, also I have fallen for the wrong ones. I just want to be able to find that one special girl in my life." He said, Emily just looked at him.

"That sucks, they shouldn't do that to you. You should probably just let the one come to you, it might work." Emily said to him, he looked at her. He smiled and then took it in. He seemed happier when she said that, it made her happy that she helped him. He then continued on showing her the school, it was a big school. Even with it just being one floor, but wherever they went; she didn't know where they were. Only because it was that big. Colin looked at her and realized she looked confused. He stopped and talked about where they were.

"This will be one of your classes, I will tell you which one. I don't know your schedule, I hope it isn't a bad class though."

Emily took it out of her pocket and looked at it, "This is my third period class." She said, she then saw a smile on his face.

"That's the same period as my class, I guess we have a class together." He said, he seemed really shy now. "Maybe you will like that class, it's one of the easiest classes in the school." He said, he smiled.

"Maybe I will like it." Emily said, he started to walk away so she started to follow him. Only because she didn't want to get lost in this school. They then got to the lobby of the school again, Colin went to his class and Emily was walking down the hall and she saw Jordan walking in her direction. Jordan had one of the biggest smiles on his face, he then walked over to her and he stopped in front of her. "Hey Jordan, why are you so happy?"

"I just went to look at the school paper and I asked for a copy. Look who's on the front page of the school paper!" He was so excited about being on the front page, he then dragged Emily to go see the school paper. So, she can get her own. She then walked over, she saw the school paper and smiled.

"Wow, Jordan. You did get the front page." Emily said, he looked at her and smiled.

"Yeah, also look. There's no Shane on the front page. Just me, The Best Football Player Ever!" Jordan said, she then took in what Melody said before they got to school. She then looked at Jordan.

"You're right, it does say that on there. Don't you think Melody will be mad? She really wanted Shane to be on the front page of the school paper if she sees this; she will be mad and sad." She said, he just looked at her.

"Yeah, but who cares if Shane is on the front page. I'm the one on there, he isn't."

"You have a point, but he seems like a different player than you."

"He is! He is a lot different than I am, he also doesn't care about a lot of things." He said to her, since he knew she never met Shane.

"I feel like I don't want to meet him anymore." She said, Jordan looked at her.

"You don't want to meet him, he won't even talk to the new kids anymore." Jordan said to her, she just looked at him. How could someone that has been at the school for a long time not like the new kids of the school? Even though, it seems like Jordan doesn't even like Shane. Once Jordan stopped talking to Emily, she made her way to class. She walked in and saw Melody, she also saw Crystal; but she made her way to Melody.

"Hey Emily." She said as she turned around, "How was the tour?"

"It wasn't that bad, I found out I have at least one class with Colin."

"That's good, maybe he can help you out in that class. He is really good at helping people with their homework for any class." Melody said, Emily then took that in. Maybe this could be a good year.

"Is he really?"

"Yeah, he might not be a straight A student. He at least gets up to a B+."

"That's not that bad, I'm mostly an A student." Emily said, since she couldn't tell people she was homeschooled. Melody looked at her, she looked confused. Even though, she went for the lie. Emily never thought she would be able to lie her way through anything. After being homeschooled for so many years, she was happy with just a B+.
