26. Detention

Elodie walked to the wooden door, which led to Umbridge's Office.
She was surprised to meet her brother there too.

"What the fuck are you doing here? You're supposed to be staying out of trouble." She asked Harry.
"I'm assuming the same reason as you. She just can't seem to get her head around the
fact that-"

"Come in." The high pitched voice came from the inside of the door.

The pair walked through the now open door and saw the lady in pink sitting there with a smile on her face.

"Good evening Ms. Potter, Mr. Potter. Sit,"

Cats from the plates behind them wouldn't stop making noises. It was hard not to find it funny.

"And what are you laughing at?"

"Oh um, nothing..." Elodie tried extremely hard to hold her giggles in.

"You're going to be doing some lines for me today, you two."

They reached down to grab their quills,
"No, not with your quills... you're going to be using a rather special one of mine."

The Professor walked over to them, and handed them a normal looking quill each.
"Now, I want you to write 'I must not tell lies.'"

"How many times?" Harry asked.

"Well, let's say for as long as it takes for the message to sink in."

"You haven't given us any ink." Elodie spoke up as she started to walk away.

"Oh, you won't be needing any ink."

The siblings started to write. However Elodie was scribbling the words down and trying to make it as un-neat as possible, but that was until she noticed her arm had a burning sensation.
The scribbles she once drew on the paper, had started to form on her hand.

"I think the message has settled in now. Thanks!" And at that, she grabbed her brothers arm and they started to sprint to the Gryffindor common room.
Umbridge's screams could be heard from down the corridor but they were too far gone to care.

Once they finally said the password and got in, George and Fred could be seen setting up one of their boxes that they were going to have in their joke shop. Elodie always knew that they would eventually expand into something bigger than just one simple prank, but she never imagined it to be this soon.

"That bitch is a fucking psychopath. We've got to do something." She said slightly out of breath

"Oh yeah?" George said
"What did she do?" Fred asked
Lee also leaned in from the sofa.

Elodie grabbed Harry's scarred hand and presented them both to the twins.
They had shocked looks on their faces.

"Well, I think Freddie and I have got just the things for that...." George claimed

The next day, when Elodie went to the boys dormitories to see the three boys, it was only Lee there, sleeping.

"Lee wake up!" Elodie screamed
He jolted awake and stared at her in disbelief.
"What?! What do you want?!"

"Where's the twins?" She asked, and he looked at the empty beds.
"I think I might have an idea."

Lee grabbed her hand and took her to just outside of Dumbledore's office where screeches could be heard.
Elodie took a peek inside and saw Umbridge, Snape, Dumbledore and McGonagall.

"They were planning something all night." Lee whispered

"What do I do?! My hair, my face, my clothes... everything is ruined!"
Umbridge's hair was now a deep red, her face had pus filled pimples all over, and her clothes now rocked the colours of the Gryffindor.

"Dolores, we will find the culprit." Dumbledore assured her.
"Can't you see? It's that wicked Potter girl. She did this."
"How can you be so sure?" McGonagall asked
"I just know!"

And at that, Lee and Elodie made a run for it back to her now empty dorm. It seemed as everyone had gone for breakfast.

On her bed, there was a letter addressed to her.
She tore it open and it read:

Dear Elodie,
I hope this finds you well.
As you will know, we didn't see each other much last year and I apologise for that.
I wanted to give you the position of Gryffindor Quidditch Captain as you were fantastic in the years we played together.
I miss you, and I hope we can catch up soon.

"Oh my god!"
"What is it, El?"
"I'm Quidditch team captain!"
"You lucky sod." Lee smiled and punched her arm.
