I'm unsure if anyone noticed, but I realised that Elodie and the twins would be 16 in this year, so I have changed their age to that. :)

Elodie could see Harry walking up to his dorm, after a civilised conversation with Ron.

"Are you okay?" She asked him
"I'm okay... it was pretty thrilling now that I think of it." Harry chuckled
"Yeah I know... but it's a lot for a 14 year old to have to go through..." she put her hand on his shoulder

"El... our whole lives are too much for us to go through. We've been through so much, but every single time something bad has happened, we have had each other's backs throughout."

The pair embraced themselves in a hug. Until Elodie spoke up.

"I'm off to bed. Love you."

———

Elodie and Harry sat together, at the table for breakfast.

"Hi Harry..." the Patil twins walked past and smiled.
"That's certainly a large difference from before the first task..." his sister scoffed

Harry laughed and took a sip of his pumpkin juice. He looked over to the Ravenclaw table where a beautiful raven haired girl was smiling at him. Harry smiled back but due to him smiling with the pumpkin juice still in his mouth, it spilled all over his lap.

The girls from Ravenclaw giggled but the girl shut them up.

"Look at this!" Hermione shouted, and placed the Daily Prophet in front of them.
"I can't believe it... she's done it again."
Hermione then began reading something from the newspaper.
"Miss Granger, a plain but ambitious girl seems to be developing a taste for famous wizards. Her latest prey, sources report is none other than the Bulgarian bonbon, Viktor Krum. No word yet on how Harry Potter's taking this latest emotional blow."

Elodie coughed trying to cover up her laughter. The two stared at her.
She got up, grabbed three plates and a few slices of toast and headed up to her best friends' dorm.

"Wake up. Rise and shine." She lifted her wand up to the curtains and opened them.

Firstly, she put a plate on George's bedside table, along with 2 slices of toast, then Lee's, then Fred's.

"Thanks gorgeous." Fred whispered.

"Come on all of you. Mrs McGonnagal needs all of 4th year and up to go to the great hall in,"
She looked at the time.
"1 hour!! Up, up, up!!"

The boys got up and raced to the shower.
Elodie laughed to herself and left.

———
On the left side of the room were the girls. Elodie was among Hermione, Angelina, Katie, Alicia and Eloise.
On the right hand side, Lee, George and Fred were at the back, whilst Harry, Ron and their friends were in front of them.

"The Yule Ball has been a tradition of the Triwizard Tournament... since its inception. On Christmas Eve night, we and our guests gather here, in the Great Hall, for a night of well mannered frivolity. As representatives of the whole school, I expect each and every one of you to put your best foot forward. And I mean this literally, because the Yule Ball is, first and foremost... a dance."

Everyone gasped. The girls were giggling and eyeing out some boys, whilst the boys did not sound as enthusiastic.

"Silence! The house of Godric Gryffindor has commanded the respect of the wizard world for nearly ten centuries. I will not have you, in the course of a single evening, besmirching that name by behaving like a babbling, bumbling band of baboons."

Elodie smirked at this witty line from her head of house. She looked up towards the twins who were talking amongst themselves.

McGonnagal then began speaking again,
"Now to dance, is to let the body breathe. Inside every girl, a secret swan slumbers... longing to burst forth and take flight."

The girls were giggling and so obviously excited.
Elodie looked over to see Harry, Ron and Seamus giggling at something whilst looking at Eloise Midgen.

The head of house continued...
"Inside every boy, a lordly lion prepared to prance. Mr Weasley..."
She walked over to Ron and gave him her hand.

It was extraordinarily funny watching the smirk wipe off of his face and turn into a look of horror.
"Will you join me please?" The Professor asked, sounding delighted.

He got up whilst Seamus and Harry were laughing.
Serves Ron right for being so mean.

"Now, place your right hand on my waist."
"Where?!"
"My waist."

A few boys whistled and catcalled them.

The professor continued giving instructions to Ron.

-

Once the dance came to a halt, McGonnagal asked everyone to pair up. The boys got up reluctantly.

Fred swayed over to Elodie, bowed down and brought out his hand.
"M'lady, would you be so kind as to join me with this dance?"
"Why of course I would, kind sir." She took his hand and he whispered something in her ear.

"I like it when you call me sir." He smirked, and she slapped him on the arm whilst trying to fight back laughter.

———

It was a few days later and nearly everyone was in the courtyard. There were different cliques all talking amongst themselves.
Of course, Elodie, George, Fred, and Lee were together.

"So, who are we all thinking of going with to the ball?" George asked

Fred looked at the girl stood before him and smiled.

"I'm not telling you." He said

Elodie smirked at this response,
"Hmm, I don't know... I think Viktor Krum is quite dashing? Maybe even Fleur Delacour? What about you, Lee?"
Fred rolled his eyes.

"I might ask Angie. Or maybe... agh I have no idea!"
"Lee, you will find someone. It will be your best friends' duty to find you a well mannered certain somebody to accompany you." Elodie said
"Enough about me... George? Who are you gonna ask?"

"I was gonna ask Ang too. If that doesn't work out I might just ask one of the Beauxbaton girls."

"She's going with Sakura Akagi." George said sadly, as he came back from his failed attempt at asking her to the dance.
