We pull up at the Bar and walk in and Ross smiles at us and holds up two fingers and I smile at him as we head to our both.
Willow sits beside me and I wrap my arm around her neck and kiss her temple. "So what kind of new job will you be doing?"
"That's what I wanted to talk to you about." She said.
I listened as she explained everything that happened at this lady Betty's house and I have to say I'm livid.
"What is their last name?" I said.
"Umm Betty had it on that paper I think Shultz maybe."
"Yeah, I know that jerk. He works for a construction company and he has a reputation of a woman stealer." I said.
"Well I'm not worried about him but I don't want to go over there alone again if I can help it." She said.
Ross brings over our food and we sit and talk and eat. I'm so annoyed but I can't tell her not to do the job I just have to make sure someone goes with her.
"What if I ask Jordan? I mean he's good when it comes to helping me design things." She said.
"I guess that could work. I don't want to go and look like an overbearing fiancé who's scare to lose his girl because that's further from the truth." I said.
"Jace you have nothing to worry about. It shocked me that he was sprawled out on that bed half-naked and then had the gall to follow me out to my car." She said biting into her burger.
"We got rid of Jackie and now here comes another nightmare," I said.
"I'll admit it's been nice without her but I feel bad for her hubby." She said.
"I know but he's probably better off." I sigh.
"Omg Jace that's the guy sitting at the bar. That Brandon guy from today." She said.
I looked up and over at him and we made eye contact and he smirked. "Yeah, that's the jerk I was talking about. He can't seem to stop staring over here."
She leaned in and kissed me. "Let's head home Jace."
"Alright let me go pay the bill," I said.
She let me out of the booth and I walked over to where Ross was behind the counter to pay when Brandon spoke up.
"You got a good woman there Pickford."
"I already know that," I said without looking at him.
"I tried to temp her but it didn't work. Guess she does love you." He chuckled.
"Yeah, and you come onto her again your face will be meeting my fist," I said.
He raises his hands up like he surrenders. "I won't touch her unless she wants me to." He smirks.
I just shake my head and walk away. I walk back over to the table and get Willow and we head outside.
Once in the truck, Willow asks what Brandon said. "Just a bunch of horse shit but yeah I don't want you going over there alone."
She wraps her hand in mine and caresses my thumb. She's silent all the way home. I hope I didn't upset her and make her think she can't do anything without a bodyguard. She's a beautiful woman and I know people will be hitting on her.
We pull up at the house and I cut the truck off and look over at her. "Are you ok? Are you mad at me?"
"No Jace I'm not mad at you. I find it flattering that you protect me like that." She smiled.
We head inside and go straight upstairs and get ready for bed. I strip down and get in the bed waiting on Willow. I'm glad she's not mad. We haven't really had an argument yet.
She walks out in my oversized shirt and crawls in bed right into my arms.
"I love you Willow."
"I love you too Jace." She gets her head comfy on my chest.
I run my fingers slowly through her hair. I love doing nothing with her.
She cuts the tv on and ridiculousness is on so we watch that until we fall asleep.
The next morning we wake up and she rolls over and smiles at me. "I don't have to go out today but I need to talk with Jordan maybe I'll go have lunch with him and Casey." She said.
"Sounds good babe. I will be at the nursery most of the day we have a bunch of trees to ship off again. I don't know how dad comes up with these places to ship to." I said.
"Want to shower together?" She smiles.
"Like I would say no to you?" I laugh.
I follow her into the shower and grab a couple of towels while she gets the water temp right.
Once I walk into the shower she grabs me and wraps her arms around me and kisses my lips softly.
"I know I probably say it too much but I love you so much, Willow."
"Oh, Jace I love hearing it. I love you more." She smiles as she jumps in my arms.
I catch her and slip inside her gently as I watch her face contort and her eyes roll back. I grip her hips gently and side in and out of her and then back in with more force.
She bites my shoulder gently and then her lips find mine and I brush my tongue against hers before exploring her mouth.
Her moans are driving me crazy as I move in and out of her faster. "Oh, Jace!"
"Fuck... Willow, you feel so good I can't hold it off much longer." I moan.
"Give it to me Jace!" She moans and tightens around me that I am going to explode and it doesn't take long before I fill her up.
"Damn," I said trying to catch my breath.
Willow looks at me and smiles. "I love taking showers with you." She giggles.
