A/N: Surely you didn't think that was the last chapter?
Anx's POV
I can't help but be anxious about going back to school.
It's been three months. Three months I never had to worry about my own life. Just surviving as Virgil. But I'm not even Anx anymore, am I? I'm Virgil. I am just Virgil.
Whatever..
It was nice to see my dad again. Though, I'll admit I didn't really miss him. I'm used to him not being around because of work, though I've never gone three months without seeing him at all.
He was glad to see my hair color back to the way it was. I don't know why.
I strolled down the street with my earbuds in and my galaxy backpack on.
It's so strange to see how far we've come, in what would seem like a short time for others, but felt so long for me.
I was just a timid kid back then. But now, I'm.. I don't know. Better? I wouldn't call myself confident, I'll never be able to act as confident as Virgil did sometimes. But I'm not gonna let it keep happening. I'm gonna take everything that Virgil did for me, and I'm not going to be pushed around anymore. I refuse.
"Virgil!" A voice shouted at me from behind, bringing a smile to my face.
"Thomas!" I chuckled as he practically tackled me. I had to resist the urge to go hug and greet my best friend during dinner on Saturday. I'm really glad he's still here. "What's with the giant greeting?"
"I dunno, you kind of scared me on Saturday with all that." Thomas replied.
I scratched the back of my head, "I bet I did." I chuckled.
"Well, let's get going. You've got photography first right?" He asked.
I nodded and we started our walk there. We were walking through the hall and Thomas was saying something to me when I looked over and accidentally locked eyes with Logan. He smiled at me and then turned back to Dice, who he was talking to.
I looked back ahead of me, surprised, yet I couldn't help but smile at the interaction.
"That's it, right up there, right?" Thomas asked.
"Yeah, that's it. Bye." I said as I walked into the classroom.
"See ya at lunch." Thomas replied, walking to his own class.
I walk past the dark room and the sinks of my photography class to get to the desks. I look over at my usual desk and.. It's taken.
Uhh..
I look around the room and find Remy sitting at his desk, waving me over.
"Hey, so we were partners for the project. We've already finished taking all the pictures, so we just have to develop the film."
"Oh okay.."
"I'm guessing you worked on this as well, with..?"
"U-um, Logan."
"Makes sense. Okay, let's get started."
And so we did.

I sat in the cafeteria at my usual table with Thomas across from me when I had just about finished eating.
"You're all done, right? Ready to go meet the others?" Thomas asked, packing up his stuff and standing up.
Oh right.. Virgil met with them everyday..
