Chapter 14

Draco's POV

"I don't care, mother!  I have to find Hermione, it's time for her to come home!"

"Draco, darling, I know you still love her but she left for a reason, don't you think..."

"She is coming home. Whether it's for me or just because she misses Potter."

"What if she found the place that she belongs?"

"She belongs here!"

"Why because you're here?!"

"I'm done with this conversation, mother"

I walked out of the common room and just walked around the school hallways. I needed to clear my head, me and Potter were leaving in a couple hours and no one seems willingly to bring her home except us

"Draco!" Blaise catches my arm "I've been trying to catch up with you for minutes now, why are you in such a rush?"

I avoided his eyes, knowing what was to come when I told him "I'm going with Potter"

"What? To find Hermione?! Mate I know you miss her, but what if she doesn't want to  see you? There's a reason s he reached out to Potter and not you, doesn't that mean ANYTHING?" Blaise was staring at me

"I have to try Blaise! Does that mean anything to you?! I let her go, I let her choose to be with a vampire, i let her run straight into the arms of someone who hurt her! I still have nightmares of that,  I still go to the hospital wing just get a glimpse of her ghost again! The last real thing I said to her was that we couldn't be together! So if there is even a chance of bringing her home then I am gonna take it and I do not care how many of you disagree!"

"Is everything okay?" That new girl was here, where did she even come from?

"Everything is fine." Me and blaise never even looked at her

"Everything is most definitely not fine, she wants to be alone!" Blaise was shouting

"Her letter said otherwise, Zabini!"

"Boys! Calm down and talk to me about this, I could help!" She tried pushing herself between us. Seriously where did this chick come from?!

"Fine." Blaise looked at her "If your friend...."

"This doesn't involve her! She didn't even know Hermione!"

"H-hermione Granger?!" She yelped and ran away

We both stopped to watch her in confusion

"I better go check on her" blaise sighed and looked at me "since I can't talk you out of it at least be careful"

Hermione's POV

I was banging on Blaise's chest "God damn it Blaise, you're not supposed to be fighting with him!"

"Why does it matter if Draco and I were fighting?"

"Because it's not in the plan!"

"What plan?!" I looked at Blaise, was he acting at stupid? I slowly pull away

"Blaise...what's going on with you?" I looked at him and realized immediately  "Who. Are. You, you foul loathsome, little cochroach?" I pulled my wand out and aimed

The disguise fell away and I realized my mistake "say that again" he said slowly

"I-..."

"There was only one person to call me that. Say. It. Again!"

"Draco" I breathed

"Hermione."

I saw a movement and knew what was coming

"DRACO BEHIND...."

The Prince of Slytherin was unconscious at my feet"
