Chapter 24

Jimin pov

I arrived back on earth walking to my home when I saw a person sitting in front of my door. it was hard to see who it was in the dark but as I approached I could see it was Taehyung

he got up as soon as he saw me

    'we need to talk about y/n'

I walked pass him unlocking my door. I turned my head to him 'come in'

We sat silently at the kitchen table

    'so you know as well what is happening to y/n?' I asked and Taehyung nodded

    'I did some research when I looked into her parents, like to previous halfys. there aren't a lot but one recorded like the process in writing, this girl eventually chose to become a demon that's why we have that documentation'

I was listening attentively, it struck me as well that Taehyung was so open to discuss this, he didn't go directly to y/n but he talked to me first.

    'she is in her transition period' he finally said 

    'yeah I have just been told that' I expressed

Again a silence fell

    'I think we both should be there when we explain and we can tell her everything, and answer her questions if she has any' I suggested because although I wanted her to become an angel more than anything, the fact was that I did love her and I wanted her to make the choice that was best for her.

Taehyung stared at me

  'uhm yes I guess you are right'

another silence

    'perhaps when she is back to her normal strength?' Taehyung suggested, I was in doubt as I heard Hyung siks words in my mind talk to her asap. plus most importantly will she recover soon?

Taehyung glared at me with anticipation. Eventually I sighed and nodded in agreement. 

Two days passed in which y/n stayed at home. both me and Taehyung visited her to check up on her. the second day we even went together. I don't know exactly what happened but I was actually spending quite some time with him.

Eventually it was the third day in the morning. Class started when suddenly the door opened

   'miss y/l/n, glad you could join us' the teacher said as y/n stood panting in the doorway 'sorry I am late'

    'I'll let it slide this once, but please watch your clock better okay?'

y/n chuckled and walked to her desk next to Seojoon. She glanced our way. and I couldn't help but smile at her state, her typical lateness. She really did look better.

    'so I think she has recovered enough' Taehyung whispered

There was this feeling taking over me, this nervousness and uneasiness. I knew what he meant to say; today was the day we will tell her everything.

Was she even ready to hear it all?

Was I even ready? 

y/n pov

During lunch break Taehyung and Jimin came my way. still their weird auras freaked me out but I started to get used to it a bit.

    'y/n how are you feeling?' Jimin asked and I smiled at them 'I am doing better, adjusting I guess'

they exchanged a look and Taehyung took a deep breath.

    'y/n we need to tell you something and I think it would be best if we do that this evening, somewhere private'

he indicated in a serious manner

I didn't understand what was going on and I did not enjoy the tense atmosphere. so I tried to make a joke

    'uhm are you going to tell me you two are dating?' 

Jimin looked confused and Taehyung chuckled. however, the chuckle soon diminished when Jimin threw him a serious look

  'no it's really important' Jimin added. I started to understand they weren't joking.    'uhm maybe after school at one of your places?'    'yes my parents are away so we can do it at mines' Taehyung indicated   'alright, I am confused though' I said while frowning at them    'it will all become clear' Taehyung answered

The day passed so fast and before I knew it I was walking towards Taehyung's house. We agreed to meet at 20:00, just after dinner. when I rang the bell and the door opened I was welcomed by both Jimin and Taehyung.

   'you have arrived' Jimin let out but it was evident to me he was nervous

    'come in, lets sit' Taehyung gestured me to come in and follow them.

I sat down on the chair at the kitchen table

   'uhm so what's going on?'

I asked nervous as well, because I hadn't seen them behave this strangely since, well, forever so I couldn't think of what they wanted to discuss.

They exchanged a glance and then Jimin took a deep breath and started

  'so the thing is..'

Another silence

    'yes?' I asked rather impatient but it appeared this was something they both had difficulty with to tell.

   'angels and demons are real' Taehyung suddenly declared

I let out a chuckle

    'did you two get stoned without me?' I asked because it would explain a lot. both didn't smile, their faces in the same seriousness

  'no we are serious' Taehyung said

  'I am an angel and Taehyung is a demon. those auras you told me about that you are seeing it shows you what kind of creature somebody is' Jimin elaborated 

   'this is not funny anymore' the fact Jimin shared that knowledge about the aurus with taehyung and the fact they used this in their prank was upsetting.

I stood up 'this prank is over'

    'you are an halfy y/n. your mother was an angel and your father a demon. that's why you felt so conflicted your entire life'

I stood frozen by the mentioning of my parents

   'you need to choose a side when you turn 18, that's why they sent us to guide you through it'

It was stupid but I wanted to believe their story, it would explain a lot I mean the fact my parents were unfindable, the fact I always felt I had a strong good and bad side, the differences and appearances of both taehyung and Jimin'

I sat down again

   'so lets pretend I believe you guys, what will happen next?'
