Chapter Nine

It was silent when Jimin had said he would like you to adopt him.

"You d-don't have to!"  he stuttered out.

"If you're sure you want to come home with me, you can,"  you gently smiled at him.

"Is Taehyung okay with it?  I know tiger hybrids are kind of territorial..."  Jimin muttered.

"Yeah!  I'd like to have someone to talk to when Y/n goes to work,"  Taehyung smiled and jumped around in happiness.

"Okay, then tomorrow we can take you to the adoption center and also get your wounds checked out."

"Thank you, Y/n!"  Jimin smiled and launched himself into your arms.  "I'll be good, I promise!"

You chuckled at his cute antics and hugged him back.

"You better promise too, Tae,"  you teased, wondering if he'd understand what you meant.

He grumbled, clearly understanding what you were hinting towards.

"Anyways, I have to get back to work, so we can talk about it later."

You walked back to the front and Yoongi was still in the lounge with Jimin.  I wonder what their story is?

As you were thinking, someone else walked into the cafe, taking your mind back to reality.

"Hello!  How may I help you today?"  you smiled stiffly.

"Just a banana milk please..."  You couldn't see their face, but assumed it was a male from his voice.

"Boba?"  you asked.

"Yes, please,"  the boy said as he pulled out his wallet to pay for his drink.

"Okay, five dollars and fifty cents,"  you said and he gave you six dollars.  "And fifty cents is your change."

"Thank you."

"Your welcome, your order will be done in a minute."

As you said this, Jin came back out with another tray of sweets.  He looked at the boy and smiled.

"What's up with you?"  Ash asked, surprised Jin was smiling at someone.

"Remember Jungkook?  My hybrid?"  Jin asked.

"Yeah what about him?"  You asked as you were finishing up the drink.

"That's one of his friends.  Leo was it?"  he asked himself.  "Anyways, he comes here for the same drink Jungkook does.  Perhaps it's a rabbit thing..."  he said to himself.

You nodded as you went to hand the boy his drink.

"Enjoy,"  you slightly bowed.

"Thanks,"  he said and walked out.

"Does he have an owner?"  you asked when you were sure the door was closed.

"I think he does, but hiding his identity like that makes me think he's stray..."

You hummed as you went to put the ingredients back into the fridge so that they don't spoil.

"He sounded cute,"  Ash joked.  "Perhaps I can win him over?"  She wheezed.

"God, that would be something to see,"  Jin cackled.

"You guys are losing it,"  you lightly laughed.

"It's not like our hybrids have crushes on us,"  Ash said.

"What do you mean?"  you shot a look at her.

"Well, Taehyung looks at you like you're a goddess,"  Jin pointed out.

"Doubt it,"  you sighed.

"Well, if he did, then that would mean you are his mate,"  Jin informed.

"What?"  you asked.

"Have you not read about hybrids?"  Ash gasped.  You shook your head, causing both of their eyes to widen.

"I can give you my book about hybrids then,"  Jin offered.  "It's really important to know about hybrids before adopting one."

"Right..."
