Chapter Ten

You sighed as you went to sign out of the computer for the night.  When you went to the lounge you saw Taehyung and Jimin sleeping peacefully on the sofa.  You felt bad that you had to wake them up but if you didn't something could happen.

"Guys, wake up,"  you said as you gently shook them awake.  They both groaned as they sat up and stretched.

"Do we have to?"  Tae whined.

"Yes, unless if you want to live here instead."  Both of them immediately stood up and followed you out of the cafe.

"Bye Jin, see you tomorrow!"  you waved.

"Bye Y/n! Be safe!"  he said back.

You were walking home with two felines following close behind.

"Y/n?"  Jimin spoke up.

"Yes?"  you glanced at him.

"Did you really mean it when you said you would adopt me?"

"Of course,"  you nodded.  "Do you not want to be adopted?"  you asked.

"I do, I just wanted to make sure you wanted to keep me..."

"Absolutely.  You and Taehyung seemed to be getting along well, and it would be better for you than being on the streets."

"I need someone to get in trouble with me,"  Taehyung joked.

"Tae, I still haven't forgot what you did earlier."

"Damn,"  he whispered, causing you and Jimin to chuckle.

"What did you do anyways?"  Jimin asked.

"Well, we went to the Hybrid Center, and she had me pick out a collar, so I joked that she should get one too,"  he started.  "She actually agreed, so I picked out some...  Innapropriate ones for her to try on..."

"Then what?"  Jimin asked, excitedly.

"I gave them to her to try on, then I think the third one was when my heat started to act up..."  Taehyung blushed.  "We had to get out of there and get some surpressants before we left, but since I wasn't thinking straight, I put the collar on the table and she didn't know and know she has a collar in her closet..."

"I'd like to see,"  Jimin teased, causing Taehyung to let out a growl.

"Find someone else,"  he snarled.

"Jeez, calm down Tae, I was kidding,"  Jimin frowned.

You all made it to your small home, opening the front door for them and locking it when everyone made it inside.

"Make yourself at home,"  you said.  "Are you guys hungry?"  you asked.

"A little bit..."  Jimin mumbled.

"Alright, how about I make you some salmon?  I bought some the other day, but I forgot to eat it."

"Sure,"  Jimin smiled as you made your way to the kitchen to cook for him and Taehyung, since you weren't hungry.

When the salmon was done cooking, you served it and left towards your room.  You dressed into some pajamas as your computer loaded up for your research on hybrids.

For pajamas, you put on a pair of black and red plaid sweats and a red dragon cami top and made sure to clean up.

When you were done, you sat down with your laptop on your bed, leaning against the headboard.

In the searchbar you typed, "hybrids" since you didn't want to borrow Jin's book.  You were awfully bad at returning borrowed items, so this was easier.

You clicked the first link and saw a lot of text about history of hybrids, anatomy, and transformation for humans.

You skimmed through the history, talking about the island that no humans are allowed on unless if you are going to transform.  It went over how in hybrids, there are different social classes based on what type of hybrid they are.  Predetor and prey and alphas and omegas, stuff like that.

You started reading anatomy of hybrids and how their brains work.

"Mates and heats..."  you trailed off.
