It started with a carousel

The Carnival

It was crowded. I mean cars were backed up and people had to start parking way down the street.

I mainly walked with Rachel ever since last night at work. Lina didn't really say anything to me for walking out.

She just asked if I was alright. They all did, except Bex.

She hasn't looked at me once, she most likely got wrote up for what she said. It was uncalled for.

It was Me, Lina, Tasha, Carrie, Rachel, Bex, and Jaycee.

Rachel pulled me towards the funnel cake booth and everyone else went their separate ways.

We ordered a large funnel cake and sat down at the table. It was so good and I was honestly glad I came today.

Rachel and I finished it off and then rode a bunch of rides. The last one we rode was the carousel.

I got on the small horse and Rachel was on the other side.

A cute dark haired boy sat next to me on the horse. He smiled at me.

" you're a new face." He said.

I glanced over at him. " What do you mean ?"

He chuckled. " I haven't seen you around. Are you new?"

I shook my head. " yeah I just moved here a few weeks ago."

He smiled and stuck out his hand. " I'm Ryan."

I smiled back and shook his hand. "Launa."

He looked at me up and down. " Well launa hopefully I see you around."

He got up and started walking off. I hadn't noticed that the ride was over until Rachel came over to me.

" What the hell? OMG launa! That was Ryan." She yelled.

Everyone looked at her.

"shhh." I said.

She laughed. " I can't believe he actually talked to you!"

I shook my head. " let's just go find the others."

After the carnival we decided to go down to Paul's bar and grill. He had the best cheese burgers and fries.

" So guys Ryan spoke to Launa!" Rachel said.

Everyone gasped.

"Are you serious?"

"He's so hot."

"Did you see how big his dick was"

"He probably wants to have babies."

" omg guys. I only talked to him like four minutes." I laughed.

They laughed.

We finished off our burgers and everyone started yawning.

Lina was the first to go and then everyone else. I left last.

As I was about to stand up I ran right into someone.

"I'm so sor.." I looked up.

It was Ryan. When he noticed it was me he calmed down.

" Hey familiar face." He said.

I smiled. " hey. Are you.. uh following me?"

He laughed. " I was about to ask you the same."

I shook my head. " nope I'm not following you. I just thought maybe I made an impression and now you're obsessed."

He laughed again. His laugh was really cute. Omg launa get it together.

" you made an impression but I'm not a stalker." He said.

I laughed. " Well uh I should get going. My moms probably worried."

He nodded.

" Oh launa! Wait." He hollered back at me.

He ran to catch up with me. " Could I get your number? I'd love to hang out more often?"

I nodded and smiled. I took his phone putting my number into it.

He smiled and walked away.

When I got into my car I couldn't help but smile and laugh. Maybe he's in to me?

No. No way. Someone that got couldn't possibly be into me.

I shook the thoughts away and drove out of the parking lot.

When I got home my mom was passed out again on the couch. She had alcohol setting all over the table.

I shook my head. She's a mess.

I picked it all up and threw it away. She doesn't need this anymore. I grabbed a small blanket and threw it over her.

I'll have to talk to her in the morning. I don't have to work tomorrow so we were going to have a long talk.

A really long talk.
