Somethings wrong

I woke up feeling much better than before. I was still upset about the whole thing but it was easier to accept now.

Nobody has heard from Ryan for awhile. It was strange. Maybe he moved away so he could break some other girls heart.

Rachel and Lina have been texting all day making sure I'm okay. Lina gave me the day off.

My cellphone started buzzing and it was a weird number. " Hello?"

" Is this Launa?"

" yes it is."

"Hi Launa I'm Daniel Harverd from The sheriffs department. You think you could ride over? There's a few things I need to discuss."

" yeah absolutely."

I hung up and got dressed. I drove twenty minutes to the sheriffs station. I walked in and I saw the man I was on the phone with.

" Deputy Harvard?" I asked.

He looked back. " Daniel. Come on."

He took me to his office and shut his door.

" When you was in the room with your mother. Did she say anything odd? Like she wasn't feeling well?" He asked.

I shook my head. " no. She said everything was fine. She said she was feeling better."

He nodded his head.

" why?" I asked.

" well I looked at your mothers report and she had some poisonous fume in her body. Most likely it was injected by a visitor or staff." He said.

"Omg," I covered my mouth. " are you saying she was murdered?"

" well we don't know for sure but that's where my suspicions are leading me." He said.

" Launa. Do you know of anyone who would have wanted to hurt your mother?" He asked.

" my mothers ex. Michael. He cheated on her and threatened me once." I said.

" would he have access inside the building?" He asked.

I nodded. " he would have lied and said he's an immediate family."

He nodded. " I'll keep you informed."

I headed out. I texted Lina and Rachel and told them what the cop said.

If Michael murdered my mother I was going to kill him.

I decided to call Ryan to see if he'd pick up.

It rang four times so I knew he wasn't going to answer. I hung the phone up and drove off.

When I got home I heated up some left over pizza from the other night. It wasn't the best pizza but it was something.

My phone buzzed and it was Ryan. He said he was coming over.

He didn't knock he just walked right in.

He looked at me. " I'm sorry okay? I fucked up. I did. But I love you Launa okay. I do. And I want you."

I was shocked. Not that he apologized but that he said he wanted me and he loved me. It was all surprising to hear.

He came close to me and lifted me on the counter. He started kissing me. I kissed him too I wanted this. Now more than ever.

He grabbed me and took me upstairs. He gently layed me on the bed. He kept kissing me, he went to my neck then my stomach, my thighs. Everywhere.

I loved it. It felt so good. He took his shirt off and then took mine.

He slung it across the floor.

He threw the sheets over us and I giggled.

This was the best makeup present ever.
